I decided to take an extra day off from training. Typically I do 5 days of Kickboxing and weightlifting where a half hour in between the two I run on the treadmill, been doing this since this past May so I have been working really hard to get healthy and fit. For awhile I have been feeling too exhausted for school work and caught myself sleeping almost an entire day. I know that if I show signs of exhaustion I should take it easy. But I also don't want to feel like I am cheating myself out of earning that physique I am busting my ass to achieve, I guess what I'm asking is it ok to have an extra day of recovery from time to time if need be?
