Did I Screw Myself Up?

I decided to take an extra day off from training. Typically I do 5 days of Kickboxing and weightlifting where a half hour in between the two I run on the treadmill, been doing this since this past May so I have been working really hard to get healthy and fit. For awhile I have been feeling too exhausted for school work and caught myself sleeping almost an entire day. I know that if I show signs of exhaustion I should take it easy. But I also don't want to feel like I am cheating myself out of earning that physique I am busting my ass to achieve, I guess what I'm asking is it ok to have an extra day of recovery from time to time if need be?

Absolutely. Learn your body's language and do what it tells you. If you don't give your body time to rest it isn't able to recover. You won't have what to show for your training except pain, tiredness, and more sickness prone.
