Do you hit the gym twice a day?

    So I had a session with my trainer this morning and then went back after work to work out some tight leg muscles on the stationary bike. I saw a number of guys from the morning this evening...is this a common practice?
    Do you split up cardio in the morning and weights in the evening? Why?

    Doing cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach burns fat faster. If I've gotten side tracked from my workouts, I will normally do some intense cardio in the morning and then weights in the afternoon. But after a couple of weeks I normally go back down to once a day because it can cause you to overtrain if you keep it up too long.
