The very best of luck in Buenos Aires. Hopefully you have learned some Spanish since it is the official language of Argentina. I would love to visit that city someday.

Find a temporary place to stay, such as an apartment hotel or bed and breakfast until you find your permanent place. How long are planning on living in Buenos Aires? Living with a family could be an option. If you are planning on having your own apartment, it might be a good idea to rent furnished (at least in the beginning). I have visited and lived in Latin America and would love to see Buenos Aires. Have you been there or researched it?

Volunteer in a strategic capacity. Make a difference for the people of Argentina. You will benefit for a lifetime.
