    I think the plaintiffs should be counter-sued by the scientists for living through an earthquake that was originally supposed to kill them. The scientists could argue that if the earthquake had killed them, it would have spared their relatives who did get killed; and it would have saved the court system the dishonor of having some sue-happy fuckwads abuse the system in order to get rich off a natural disaster.

    Can we sue the politicians and Fox News who, by deliberately ignoring the vast majority of climate scientists, are costing money and lives? If not now, maybe in 20 years? 50 years?

    Better yet, can we put a lien on their estates now?
