So I guess it doesn't get better. This is probably why I'm not making a video, because if I did I'd probably realize it didn't get better either. R.I.P. kid.

I find it odd that he died outside his house and no cause of death is given, but it's automatically ruled a suicide.
Something doesn't add up. It doesn't sound like a "normal" suicide.

I think a lot less people would kill themselves if gays were nicer to EACH OTHER.

I couldn't watch past the first few minutes, knowing how it ends. I cry watching the news, or a hockey game when the underdog wins. It's the anti-cancer hormones they have me on that are making me crazy like a menopausal woman.

Yes!, to your point, gay men are the worst enemies of other gay men. You're worse than bitchy women!

It's just jealousy and envy, and it makes life hell for someone trying to enter the community. So I'm cute? So what? I'm not a threat. Can't you say, hello? Welcome to our workplace? Or our website? Or our church?

It's a huge issue for newbies. People die from it. Let`s talk about it.

Yes, I read your post. I agree with you that there's bitchiness/ bullying to newbies on some posts in RJ threads. Esp one thread yesterday!

    gaycrybabies saidbla bla bla

Why aren't you dead already? Nobody on here would miss you and RJ would be a much better place without you. So do it, do it, do it, do it, do it.

Yeah, gay men talk to each other like that all the time. icon_rolleyes.gif

This is so stupid and was so avoidable. They say that the worst bullying the kid received was online. To bad nobody told him that there is an off-switch at the computer, that there are other ways to entertain himself outside of school, that it is absolutely ok to ignore his online bullies and not read their messages.

"Yeah, good luck with that one."

...yet, apparently, when we are nicer to each other, the forums apparently (from some posts we've seen on other topics), get boring.

We haven't been posting much lately, compared to how we have been in the past.

We get hate mail. Trolling attacks are, apparently, generating more hits which is great for ratings etc.

    Interesting stuff.

Unfortunately, it is not just a "temporary" problem for all of us.

Ignoring doesn't often work. Someone popular bullies, and soon there's a mob. Ignore them all and the result can be isolation.

This death is the direct result of precisely the same type of bullying that happens on this very forum. The disrespect with which some of you treat others killed this kid.

I got very good at isolation in middle school.

The ignoring of a bully by others can be seen as silent and tacit approval of the bullying.
