As someone who came out late in life and wished I could have had the guts to do this in my early years I give him a tremendous amount of credit. I hope this inspires others to realize themselves. I am also a father of three boys and know if any of my boys cane out nothing would ever change between us.

Touching and all. But all I could think about was how much ass he's going to get posting this on YouTube. Dicks twitch and asses switch... he won't be able to keep up.

Wow. That brought back some memories. I remember being really nervous right before telling my parents. That was a really nice video though. Thanks for posting it.

It's really inspired me to come out to the rest of my family and friends. If he has the courage to come out while in the military, even on the heels of the DADT repeal day, then I should, too. icon_smile.gif

Been following his channel for about 6 months. In the earlier videos, he talked about what it was like to serve and his hopes for coming out. This was the first time that he showed his face. Seems like a fine young man.

It was really brave of him to post that video and I think it will give a lot of people hope that their parents will have the same response when they come out to them.

    Parents,

Look at your child's locational astrology map and their natal chart so they won't have to come out from under the assumption that their reason for being is partnering (the DS angle) or family tree (the IC (angle).

Some people are here for self (the AS angle) or for being stars of society (the MH angle).

With that said, some natal charts have markers all over the chart, not favoring either of the four angles.

    DS: Descendant
IC: Imum Coeli (opposite the Midheaven)
    AS: Ascendant
    MH: Midheaven

What an amazing brave thing to do. He is truly inspirational. He is a hero in my book. What an example to all of us especially to those in the military. God Bless him and keep him safe from harm.

I wish I had his strength to do this. I have to cope with the reality that this will probably be me one day. I don't know if I will have such a sweet happy ending though.
