Okay, I know this is kind of strange to request this, but I'm not sure how else to approach this. I'm running two marathons next month: I found out I got into NYC Marathon after trying for years. I'm already running Niagara Falls Marathon, so I will have about two weeks to spend in Toronto. I am looking for a budget-friendly small room with a washroom near the Yonge-College St area, near Dundas Square. I've looked online and most are long-term rentals or are extremely expensive.

Anyone in the Toronto area have any advice? I need to figure this out soon and would love some advice on where to look!! Thanks!!

That is what it will exactly come down to. Expect to pay at the very least $80.00/day if you want to stay at the hotel in that area.

I would suggest you should try exploring other options such as renting a room for 2 weeks or living in a backpacking hostel, they won't be as comfortable as a hotel but they will be neat place to put for two weeks. If that does not suit you, I will suggest find a cheaper hotel somewhere in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) and commute to the city every day. There is the GO Train.
