What the fuck is wrong with people? This totally enrages me. Anyone who doesn't speak up and stop bullying, including saying such idiotic things as: "That's so gay", is guilty of allowing bullying to continue. Pass this link on to your friends and EVERYONE do their part to stop this!!

Bullying has been and will always be around. As sad as it is, some people just can't handle it. Darwinism in action.

Bullying can happen to anyone regardless of them being gay or straight. Usually it is the people who are reserved or have few friends or both.

Although not sure on the Darwinism, I agree that bullying has become a fact of life; it still doesn't go away even into adulthood. If a kid isn't bullied for being gay, they will be for something else. What most are lacking today are good coping skills to prevent negative attitudes from doing harm. People may get made fun of for being who they are, but the true sad part is that those doing the harrassing will live the rest lives as their miserable, pathetic selves.

It's true that bullying has always been around, but I'll say that one factor that is different these days is that you can be bullied virtually 24 hours a day. In my day, many centuries ago, people would usually get bullied at school. Going home was a way to escape. In today's heavily online culture, there are fewer places to hide from the bullies. It makes it much more difficult to feel safe.

It is almost impossible to bully without some social support or social power. Most bullies ( for instance high school bullies) have a strong network of friends in the school and often pick up the ones who are out of the crowd or in fragile state such as few or no friends. Sadly, society supports it to some extent.

i just spent 3 days on suspension. some guys @ school were bullying a fem guy. i told them 2 stop, they didn't. 1 of them turned around and called me "faggot." i decked him.

it was worth the 3 day suspension. bullying's not cool.
