It's time to queue up your favorite song and blast it at full volume while you dance in your undies with abandon.

Dude, dancing around in your undies is blues therapy. icon_smile.gif

For me it's morning therapy. I do that virtually every morning

How about being told your chances of surviving your cancer are very low? Try that on for size.

I've been going through this for a few months, and the other day (last Monday) I was given the bad news: my chances of surviving are very poor. I've still gotta go through radiation treatments for the next 6 weeks, every day at 7 AM ( icon_exclaim.gif ) ; who the fuck can get there by 7 AM each day for 6 weeks? And my chance of being cured is still not good.

So OK, I gotta take this like a man. We all die, and this is my turn. But fuck, I'm gonna go kicking and screaming.

Whatever you are going through please know that it is going to be alright. Whenever you get down and depressed and you think that the world has turned it's back on you please understand that there are people out there, while they may not always show it, love and appreciate who you are.

It's gonna get better. You have to believe that! icon_sad.gif

you know what, I was definately not making a fuss about nothing. Just a bad feeling and i turned to good guys here for some consoling words. Actually, it worked and i wanna give a hug to those who really helped. As for those rude guys, you could just ignore this post, but never text your evil thought here please. Disgusting.

Again thanks for the nice guys, much better now!icon_biggrin.gif

It sounds like you have the first entry for a "Gratitude List".

Take 15 minutes to think about and write down everything that you are grateful for in those 15 minutes. Also, think about what you don't have that you don't want.

    Repeat as necessary.

Newbie, feeling bad is part of feeling good. Most of the time t passes or it gets more definite and is then easier to work out. "The sun will rise tomorrow." is not as shallow a saying as it may seem.

No amount of consolation is greater than you looking into the mirror and scream into it : "It's your time to fly, BITCH!" icon_biggrin.gif

    Or....
You can also do it the Ugly Betty style
"I am an attractive, intelligent, confident (insert your occupation here) man" icon_cool.gif
