Poor Carter (and especially his wife) will never, ever get over being beaten out of his second term. Now - can't he just go away? If people had not been angry at President Ford for pardoning Nixon, Carter would not have gotten in, and Ford would have had the chance he deserved to serve as our president for a full term. Carter's election was unfortunate, to say the least. At least the country corrected the mistake and sent him packing after one term. Let's hope the country sees the mistake of Obama and sends him packing in exactly the same manner.
