Are you an awkward runner?

I stumbled upon this gem recently...

I see runners like this all the time around Seattle. Hell, I'm probably close to the T-1000. When I get into the "zone", I get freakishly relentless and determined. Does anyone else find themselves running similarly to the guys in the video?

Yes,starting out I can be a bit like the Stiffy, but like you say, when in the zone and feeling the burn, I go all T-1000!

Oh I'm probably a stiffy, geezer, and T-1000 hybrid model

The flightless bird was my favorite though.

Yes! I see the second kind / the dandy ones here all the time. And they some of the most straightest looking dudes.

I dont think I run like that. But i have biased opinion of myself.

This was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this thread!

I have to confess that several times I've let myself go to run like Pheebs. I don't do it every time I run, but every once and a while I let loose like that. It's definitely liberating, and I don't care how awkward it makes me look.

I don't think I'm one of those types, but maybe I'm just delusional. If anything, I get the constipated look when I'm really pushing myself. We have a few "dandy" runners at my gym, and they always seems like the straight type. Maybe flailing your arms wildly while you run burns more calories?

Yeah -- something between the geezer and the T-1000.

What was missing was the shoulder shrugger, who hikes is shoulders up to his ears, then rotates the whole torso to keep balanced on the run.

When I was younger people use to tell me that I ran like a duck. Thankfully I grew out of it.
