I am glad the talking point is out within 30 minutes. Awesome.

Its not OK to boo soldiers unless they are traitors.

I was shot at in 1989 in Orlando, just for being in a Navy uniform (off base drive-by shooting).

Booing would have been much less stressful.

Yeah I saw that too........... and santorums answer I could have torn him to shreds on.. total pandering at its worst!

This is no different than when they cheered about letting someone who didnt have health insurance die! This is a very sick and twisted party....

How classy. I'd like to see the people who booed go over to Iraq and get shot at while trying to stay alive. They probably wouldn't last 2 minutes.

    Is this country doomed?

The sellout economic incompetence of my Democratic Party -- their sorry refusal to stand up to corporatists and fight for the working class -- is really dangerous.

Meanwhile, the mendacity and selfishness of the Republicans on social issues such as gay rights is scary and depressing.

I've never, ever sat out an election before. It looks like that is about to change next year. icon_neutral.gif

..... and we're surprised by this republican response?

These are the same people who threw dollar bills at a handicapped man who was protesting that he didn't have adequate healthcare
.... the same poeple who cheered when they heard Rick Perry's Texas had the highest kill rate in the country when it came to the death penalty
and shouted "Let him Die" when given the scenario of a man with a job without healthcare

................ For the Gay Republicans out there

What's it gonna take Dudes?? icon_confused.gif

well said my friend. i could not have said it any better. this is a party that likes blood and confrontation. this is a party, especially those in the tea party that advocated taking 'bullets' out on whomever did not agree with them. that nut job allen west from florida is a prime example. the woman that was going to be his chief of staff gave a rally in west palm beach before the election and riled up the crowd with hate and all sorts of nonsense.
you should google it sometime. as for santorum.... any man that takes a still born child home for his kids to hold is just nuts. the thought of 'president perry' turns my stomach.

I understand your frustration with the Democrats, Troy. But you have to realize that 'sitting this one out' is exactly what elected the Republican House.

There's too much at stake. If you don't think so, try repeating the words "President Perry" to yourself as you fall asleep.

No, the incompetence of the Democrats is what elected the Republican House.

How exactly will President Perry be different from the Blackface Bush currently in the Oval Office? It's not as if I'm sleeping easy now (or the millions of people struggling due to the insane weak corporatism of Obama and his Team of Ivy League Fools.)

The naivete of that response precludes discussion.

The hopey-changey gullibility of Obama worshipers, enablers, and sycophants has put both the country on a path to destruction -- as well as the once-great party of Jefferson, Jackson, Bryan, Roosevelt, Truman, Humphrey, Kennedy, Johnson, and Clintno. That is indisputable, so of course the Obamacrat ball-lickers have no (valid) response.

Obama is limp. McCain would have been actively anti gay. Any Republican candidate would be actively anti gay.

Do not mistake disappointing for "bad". It could be much, much worse.

Listen, bitch. To say that Obama is less of an evil that any of the GOP candidates is so fucking obvious that to deny it really does put you out of the discussion.

He has been limp. He has been disappointing. He has been vastly better than anything the GOP has offered in the last few decades.

Hilary Clinton should have been president. She would have been less awful.

In defense of the GOP candidates, booing is the LEAST of what has been done to our servicemembers.

From sending them into grossly unplanned conflicts with substandard armor, weapons and intelligence where they were to be greeted as liberators to making them deploy again and again and again under stop-loss and then requiring them to live in grossly inadequate facilities that included showers that routinely electrocuted them to exposing them to toxic smoke from burnpits due to insufficient disposal procedures because war-profiteering contractors wished to save money by not properly disposing of known carcinogens and medical waste to cutting benefits for veterans when they get back home, many of our servicemembers and vets have been through the wringer again and again and again.

After enduring all that, a booing is simply the crap pickle on the shit sandwich that our country offers it's warrior class.

    ::end rant::

You cannot shift the blame from the voters to the people who are already elected or ones trying to get elected. . The voters have the chance to choose the official, if they care enough to do it. Legislators can only try to motivate; we cannot drag people to the polls and make them vote.

We must all take responsibility for our own actions - or inactions.

Indisputable? Wow, the grandiosity is pretty scary.
However, there are medications for that.

Apparently, you haven't seen his other threads...where in every thread, whatever he agrees on is correct, indisputable and infallible...while those that don't agree with him get called names...like racist and ball-lickers.

Listen dumbass, the fact that you have your head buried so far up Obama's rear end puts you out of the discussion. He's a lousy technocratic corporatist who has continued the worst policies of the Bush administration. Can't deal with it? Too fucking bad.

I worked on the Hillary campaign. I got it right from the beginning. So I'm not going to be lectured by some Obama ball-licking twerp.

Oh please you hypocritical dumbass. You have never been above name-calling, so don't pretend.

Do you think YOUR arguments are incorrect? Obviously, you think they're right. That's the point of putting forth a position. So once again, you aren't making any sense at all, which is your typical MO.

Racists get called racist. Ball-lickers get called ball-lickers. I'm not going to shy away from telling the truth because you don't like it. Sorry!

Well, since you're gay, I think it's fair to call you a ball licker and a cock sucker, too...No? I'm also sure that you've probably rimmed before, so you've probably had your head up someone's ass as well...
