Got something to say? Feel like your voice won't be heard? Don't have time to write your senators or congressmen?

The White House just launched a website (http://www.whitehouse.gov/petitions) called We The People, a website devoted to petitioning that's monitored directly by White House officials. You can start a petition of your own or sign an existing one, and it's all really easy to use. Now you can quickly access your rights as a citizen of a democracy to protest, knowing you'll be heard!

I urge you, please, to sign up! Obama is already gay-friendly, but this is a great way to get our opinions into important hands who may strive to get things passed for the people!

**Traffic is a little heavy, as the site has just launched, but be patient!**

I'm reminded of that episode of The Oblongs where Bob discovers that all the suggestions he's been making to his bosses via the "suggestion box" have been going directly into the furnace.
