I used to have some admiration for her, but she really did not do that well in the Security Advisor job, and she sort of sputtered in the Secretary of State portfolio.

I think she should stick to her dream job goal and become the NFL Commissioner.

Fine, then let's hear nothing more about Obama's lack of experience, because she has NONE at all in any domestic issue, and in foreign affairs, all her experience led her to be the pom-pom girl for the insane war.

I'd sooner vote for Satan.

Me too.

I've long said it would be the Republicans, whom put the first MRS President in the White House.

Not only would she not be the first women, but the first African American too.

Not sure there has not been a bi President in the white house already. So the gay card has been covered, I'm sure.

She could not do any worse than the first Irish Catholic.

How does Obama have experience in domestic issues. At least with Hilary and McCain, I know where they stand.

There is also this little thing called the Presidential Cabinet that advises the President of the United State of American on domestic and foreign issues. These members of the cabinet are the true specialist, or at least should be in theory, of a specific field and thus gives the President advice.

When we elect a President, we elect a leader that runs the executive branch of the government.

I know I am in the minority in being a supporter of Bush and the GOP, but that is life.

I would vote for her in a heartbeat...but I'd rather see her as the V.P. first. As for her being gay...nothing pisses me off more than a gay person accusing someone else of being gay when there is absolutely no proof that this is true. That fact that they hide behind a screen and don't have the balls to show their face makes it even more annoying.

I will drink a gallon of bleach the day that horrendous excuse for a woman is elected president.

There is no more sure sign that the end of world is coming... I believe she was covered in the plagues that God has visited upon Earth in times of his wrath. The pharaos dealt with her didnt they?

The only good thing I can say about her is that I did like her appearance in the Lord of the Rings. Smeegle was one of my favorite characters, and the fact that they required no makeup made the part even more believable.

"Not sure there has not been a bi President in the white house already. So the gay card has been covered, I'm sure."

Presidents had what I would call "misters of the night," all the time back in the day. It wasnt a focused upon issue like it is today.

J. Edgar Hoover was a transvestite.

Ok, Bush took charge in January, 2001, right? So, by September, that would be eight months of a four year term for Bush and Condi to realize they're in charge and they need to do stuff, especially since it was fairly well-established that there were people around called terrorists who intended to harm the country.
I don't know, did anyone on this site need or get 8 months to 'get up to speed' on their jobs before they were actually required to do them?

Also, I have NO political ambitions at all, and yet, if I ever got a huge document prepared by the CIA that says "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Within the United States" I think I might just look into that or something.

I haven't agreed with the woman since I read her article in Foreign Affairs from 2000. While an interesting dissection of the force of international law, her conclusions about its irrelevance left me cold. I am not surprised, given her thoughts on international law, that she has been fairly ineffective as Sec. of State. While she's certainly been hampered in most of her efforts by Cheney, given her past writings on the state of international affairs she gets a great deal of the blame in my view.

Condi for President? If you care at all about even attempting to defend international law--and I don't actually believe in international law in the same way as I do national law, considering the world exists in a state of international anarchy, but I do believe in its moral force--then you should probably say no to that, as I do.

Condi Rice is Condi Rice. She is a brilliant woman whose politics I HATE. While provost at Stanford she was very disliked by workers at the University. She chooses her allegiances and holds to her guns, with no regard to the cost.

I don't buy the lesbian charges. During her tenure at Stanford she was known to go with her gay friends up to SF and dance her black bottom off through the night. She can be very gay friendly if you fall in her circle. Would you date someone who worked that much and traveled that extensively? Her intelligence also can be intimidating to some.

As for being black . . . She was raised in a very sheltered environment by parents who loved her enough to shield her from the harsh realities of Southern life at the time. I can't remember the circumstances, but someone in her camp attempted to tie her in as a friend of the four little girls who died in the B'ham church bombing. Ironically, she spoke of the sheltering at an earlier time in her career and professed not to have had any connection to that event or the casualties.

Bottom line - NO emphatically, no vote for the woman. There is immense admiration for her accomplishments, but not for the person. I also would not vote for anyone Standard Oil would name an oil transport vessel after. Like her cronies in that administration, she is all getting rich from the geo-politics of todays oil market.

Thanks for allowing me to vent. As Emily Lytella would say, 'NEVER MIND!!!!'

She's gay, really? I don't know... but at least Hilary and Obama both have a Go To Girl when they start a search for a Vice President after their win. Either way, the winning Democratic Nominee would be able to bridge a gap that they lost during their campaign against the other.

This thread's too funny.

Ok, Condi went along with deception over WMD and Al Qaida's supposed contact with Saddam's government.
Was there AT the table with Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft, etc., talking about torture then testified before the American people that America does NOT torture.
Presided over the failures that lead to 9/11 (aformentioned presidential daily brief), but ok, that was during her first 8 months on the job, so maybe she gets whatever slack that deserves.

I got the *PERFECT* bumper sticker for the campaign:

Condi '08! I'll try to do better THIS time, honest!

I don't think that there's any one person in office and capable of being the TRUE "RIGHT" KIND of President, that our country needs, and the world for that matter. Last thing we need is another drunk script bumbling fisherman sending the hands of war to their doom, so he can look like a hero to himself, his friends and the sheepish//elite.

I actually think that the RIGHT Politicians may actually fail at the political process by being weeded out and whatever other techniques the poligons use to get their way... Sorry John, not attacking you here... just saying.

Madelien Albright is responsible for the withdrawal of UN Peacekeepers from Rwanda. This paved the way for the genocide.

If you consider Dr. Rice complacent, Madelien is complicit, in the deaths of hundreds of thousands.

Madelien's hot air may have a global warming affect too.
