A friend of mine showed me this link. Of my photo being used by someone else on facebook. I went bananas and moved all my pics to private

I can't believe you're shocked that someone would steal someone's photo.

I hate to say it, but yeah, I can see it. It is probably on adam4adam and other sites, too. You are extremely hot, so of course some jackasses would steal them. They expected you not to run across them.

What is sad is that you have to keep your pictures private, and god knows what these people are doing using your image. The downside of the internet.

Making your pics private doesn't protect them from being posted elsewhere by people.

I've seen it happen many times. Once you put anything on the internet it's out there for forever and everyone has access to it.

I'm chatting with a guy right now on A4A that's using my pictures. I haven't let him see my face yet.

    not shocked at all
Got a call a few years ago from a freind in Chicago, wanting to know when I had moved there and why I was working on rentboy, with photos that were 10 years old.
    Not shocked

"Can u imagine someone stole my pics"

People pirate/steal/acquire movies, music, credit card numbers, national security secrets on the internets every day. It's an industry worth BILLIONS.

I am NOT shocked someone "stole" your pics.

FYI: a semi-motivated individual could gain access to your RJ account within seconds using software available online for free, so setting your pictures to private is more of a reassurance for you than an actual security measure.

    Hope that helps.

This is the benefit of being ugly: nobody has ever stolen my photographs. Because if they tried, they would realise the harsh reality that nobody wants to sleep with this

Take it as a compliment. Someone somewhere finds you attractive enough to lure unsuspecting guys in using your photo, not their own - that means you are a someone these days.

I can't see the pics, but what I think some people do is put text, like your username, on the them. People couldn't really use the stolen pics if they had your username displayed.

    Someone told me they saw my pics on Manhunt once... I was completely blown away wondering why someone would take mine and use them 0_o;

If you think that's bad, I was chatting with someone online a few years ago and when we were to exchange pics, he sent his first and it was MY photo! I was livid, lol, and asked him where he got the pic. Of course I never received an answer. It happens.

I remember one of our RJ members told me my pics were stolen and used by somebody on Connexion.... I just couldn't believe it....

I also had somebody create an ad using one of my pics on Craigslist...
I know who did that one, however.. but not why.

Same thing happened to me recently and I reported the profile on fb today...I was trying to figure out first who did it. Unlike other times when fake profiles were created by randoms using my pics on a4a and big musle, this time it didn't seem so random cause this person was actually contacting and hitting on my boyfriend's close friends. I'm guessing with the intention of creating some sort of chaos in our relationship I have no clue, but whatever his motive was, it didn't work icon_lol.gif

Someone stole your pics? What were they thinking? They could have at least picked someone hot.

I recently caught some guy who was flirting with me on FindFred using an RJer's pic. I'm friends with him on FB and sent him screen captures of the fake.

Get this - when MySpace was still popular, some German (White) guy stole my pic and used as his. He had more fucking follower then me.

Granted I had blond hair back then, but...

My RJ profile has a few pics from back then - check for yourself, DO I LOOK GERMAN to you at all?

Trollileo saidHow do you know the guy who stole your pics isn't a clone?

Unless he took a picture on a cloudy day in wine country with my ex boyfriend and another friend and they didn't tell me about it...
