Name a non-gay thing you do in your life. For me, it's writing for a Danish American newspaper outside of Chicago (and yes, I have never used the word 'fabulous' in my writings...lol)

Non gay as in not stereotypical? Cause everything I do, I like to think, is wholly and totally my own.

    Peace,

What Bardy said. Plus "gay" has so many different meanings to me other than the negative stereotype some antigay folks attach to it.

I mean, I do amateur UFC fighting and I also bake a lot. Either fits into a different part of a gay stereotype in my opinion...

The only coherent answer here would be "sleeping with girls"

What else is a "gay thing to do" besides having sex with men? Are snowboarding, wakeboarding, boating, camping, hiking, wood carving, and kayaking gay? Is so, I have no idea of non-gay things...

The only gay thing I do is have sex with other men.

When I go grocery shopping, I don't go gay grocery shopping.

When I park my car, I don't gay park my car.

As I clean my house, I don't think "Thank God I am gay cleaning this house!!"

I guess I'm not much into labeling things as "gay" or "not gay."

Why must everything be in a category? Gay. Non-gay. Hetero. Homo. Democrat. Republican.

I don't go around trying to do things that are "not gay." I do however think outside the box, therefore I don't go to gay bars just because other gay men do and I don't wax my eyebrows because other gay men do it. I make my own individual choices about EVERYTHING in life, which from the outside may look like I'm deliberately avoiding gay things.

Agree. The corollary being that everything I do is by definition a gay thing, because I'm a gay man.

If the OP means non-gay stereotypical, I might say motorcycling. But then I've belonged to gay biker clubs, meaning I'm not the only one, so that can't be the answer.

I could propose outdoor camping, but I've belonged to gay camping groups, who lived out in the woods as naturally & comfortably as any straight guys. So it can't be that, either.

I was trained & certified as a Master Auto Mechanic, and still work on cars for fun, love to be around them. But wait, we have a local gay motorhead chapter that collects classic cars & restores them, parades them in our gay parades. Nope, try again.

I might have mentioned the military, in which I served for 25 years, but the DADT issue has demonstrated how many gays are in US uniform already, and how many want to join & serve. Scratch that one, too.

The OP may have me stumped on this one. icon_question.gif

My local gang of miscreants. It's our Thursday night hangout, but it's getting dark early so its almost over for the year. A few more shows, then I might go to Hershey this year and that will be it until spring.

freedomisntfree saidStrange though, it's cutting off about a 1/3 of my pic. Is there a way to resize these?

Yes, if they're coming from Photobucket. Select Edit for each pic in your Photobucket Album, and look for the resizing option. What I usually do with Photobucket, however, is first resize the pic on my computer using my own software, before I upload it to Photobucket. That procedure will vary by the software you use. I have all Mac, so my steps likely won't apply to you.
