Anyone had someone come over, you end up in bed with them and you try to broach that you're not comfortable with them staying the whole night. They get petulant and leave in a huff.

His attitude was like I had an obligation to ask him to stay, when I just didn't feel comfortable.

    Anyone had this?

That's why it is always easier to go to the other guy's place: you can leave and come home to an empty bed!

Doesn't sound like there was a conversation about this beforehand.

So glad those days of being single are over and no longer having to figure out the idiosyncrasies of dating, hook ups, and possible budding romance. Should I stay or should I go? Do I look like a jerk if I fuck and run, or am I overstaying my welcome if I stay and cuddle?

I bring a guy home only if I really like him, and I usually have him stay over. In the morning we have a nice breakfast (either by going out or staying in.) Actually I can't cook very well so oatmeal or cereal & fruit / or toast is about the extent of my cooking. I can't imagine just 'doing' some guy and wanting him to leave right afterward.

    This from the same guy?
    something about "dew and lily..."

If you want him to stay invite him into the shower with you and toss his clothes in the washer.
If you want him to leave tell him your wife will be home in an hour on your way to the shower.

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidThis is why morning or afternoon WHORE sex is more preferred. There's less likelihood of this complication ever developing.

But if I hook up with a guy whose home I visit I make the assumption that I'm not invited to spend the night. So after I finish I get dressed and go about my way.

I'm embarrassed to admit that these have been exactly the tactics which I have used in the past.

Besides, I like sex in the morning or afternoon better.

I've always felt that if I was comfortable enough to have sex with a guy, I'd be comfortable enough to sleep with him as well. I actually like falling asleep together after. Maybe I'm too much of a romantic.....

No you have no obligation of asking this guy to spend the night. I only ask someone to spend the night if I really like the guy. Sex and sleeping together are way too different things emotionally.
