Ugh. "On 1.30am on Sunday morning, he left two final messages on one of his blogs saying he was looking forward to seeing his great grandmother, who recently died, and one as a tribute to Lady Gaga, thanking her....The 14-year-old was a big fan of the singer and sent her a message on Twitter saying 'Bye mother monster, thank you for all you have done, paws up forever,' before he killed himself."

So sad. If Lady Gaga can help spread the message and advocate for the ending of bullying, more power to her.

Amazing tribute. So great of her to do this. Maybe she can make a difference to other kids like she did for Jamey.

Now let the skeptics chime in with their 2 cents about how this was just a marketing stunt. icon_rolleyes.gif

An amazing thing to see though, how one lady can make a big difference in one little boys life, and how one little boy can make such a HUGE difference in SO many of our lives. Hopefully people won't forget for a long time!

Whether you like her or not, Gaga is the real thing. Sure lots of costumes, but in her position she has the ability to give a strong message and she does! Personally, I think we need more brave people like her to take a stand.

    WHY?!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHZ51NZwexc&feature=player_embedded

We sit on our asses and ask the question: WHY?
But after the tears are all dried up what do we do?
We simply go on with our own selfish lives and do nothing.

    The real question is this:
What do YOU have to offer?
What position/role do YOU play on the team?
Are YOU simply a bystander on the sideline of life?
If YOU do nothing or if YOU say nothing then what are YOU?

If YOU are not part of the solution YOU are part of the problem!
Don't be among the statistic, BE THE CHANGE!
This is what Jamey tried to do, why not YOU?

Now get out there bitches and BECOME PART OF THE SOLUTION!

If you were not a fan of Gaga before this, how could you not be after seeing this tribute? There are very few pop stars who can perform live (really live, not voice to track live) and still bring it. Gaga is truly brilliant in that her artistry can adapt to so many different genres almost effortlessly, and her commitment to her fans "the little monsters") seemingly knows no bounds.

Very sad. Even though I'm not a Gaga fan, that's great she did this. I do have to wonder if other kids who are contemplating suicide might see this and think that their image will be immortalized like this if they kill themselves.

Can you imagine how over-the-moon he would be to see this video? He'd be freaking the fuck out! It's like the after death lottery.

Too bad the others don't get tributes tho.
