Considering that no one uses the terms in the same way, absolutely nothing.

There are two different body types:

    Hot

    not hot.

    That is all.

Athletic - strong/agile looking, proportional, a word to describe a man who is in shape but is not a bodybuilder, swimmer, or fitness model... just in good health

Beefy - Musclebound with a good amount of meat on him. Broad shoulders, thick legs, strong arms... the type that gain weight easily, but also put on muscle just as easily. Hot.

Muscular - low body fat, 6 pack, big ripped arms, pecs ready to tittyfuck

Truly ripped - you can see his veins. His taint even has a 6 pack.

Hm, I think I'd mostly agree, but I'd swap beefy and muscular. For example, I call myself muscular, but not big enough to be called beefy.

Semantics. It's why we have pics. :-)

Beefy has more body fat I would assume. But beefy guys are still more muscular than fat so it looks good.

I think you are reading too much into what he asking. If you are familiar with GAYBIGMACHODUDE (formerly BIGBUBBA and various other profiles here) then you will know that he is literally asking just what he said- "What is the difference?"

i don't think he meant a preference issue but rather how would you define the terms. i'd go with something along these lines...

athletic: has a functional look to his fitness. low body fat and a proportional amount of muscle as compared to his height.

beefy: carries a lot of muscle for his frame but also some fat. isn't very defined.

muscular: carries more muscle than is functional for his frame. still has low body fat, 10-15%, but isn't super defined.

stocky: also carries a lot of muscle for his frame but less fat. has some definition. somewhere between beefy and muscular.

truly ripped: carries a functional amount of muscle mass but is really lean. has good vascularity.

not sure what i am, i guess athletic.

Do you need to know what your own body type to build up muscles on your own body and do some muscle building exercises?
