    Love? hate? Spooked by them?

I'm quite annoyed by the information they gather these days but out of convenience it would just not be feasible turn cookies off.

Here on RJ, I was just talking to a Hawaiian buddy about surfing - up pops an advert on the right says" Meet fitness singles" and it had a surfer in the picture.

The sad thing is it's a girl. So you are clever enough to figure out I'm into surfing but not smart to get I'm GAY? icon_rolleyes.gif Or they just donlt have a gay specific image yet...

The other advert I often see here on RJ is some sort of "loose the gut" training program. THis one is even more spooky if I can prove my theory.

Next time it pops up for you - see if the guy in the picture of the AD is an Asian guy for you (or if you are white, a white dude, and black for black).

I always see this asian guy on the advert, I think I'm being racially profiled/ targeted.

You can opt out of most advertising networks. Oddly enough, it's a cookie set in your browser, indicating that you don't want to be tracked. The alternative is to just set your browser to clear your cookies every time you close it.

Also, you can install the NoScript and AdBlock extensions for Firefox to block additional tracking mechanisms.

LOL. I always get the cheezy ones for supplements and workout fads. Like on Yahoo, it's a banner image of some dude with Photoshop muscles.

I never get penis enlargement advertisements. It's like they've given up. icon_sad.gif

The best part of this is on YouTube. No 30 second ads before the video starts.

I get play poker ads even though I have never played poker before.
