    They have this event every few years. I have been to every one of them so far and have really enjoyed them. Just wanted to mention it to let you know about it. Some of the events are free. icon_smile.gif

    I used to go to this with my best friend. Since he was a child, he constantly had his life threatened with health problems, often having to endure very painful situations and procedures. During the Honoring The Sea event, near the end of the the event, seeing the look of just pure joy on his face. Nothing in the World meant more to me. He past away over 5 years ago, but yes, I have fond memories of this event.

    Was reading this posting and when I got to the end about your friend's death, the tears started welling up in my eyes. Thanks for sharing. Wish I could go (had National Organist convention in Seattle and a performance at a church I worked at...how's that for obscure musical taste...guess it's the Anglican in me lol). Go and enjoy the music for me!
