    Hey guys,

Been on RJ for a few years and have gone through tons of different workouts. I always seem to get bored and lose my focus. What do you find helps you stay focused and committed to a goal? I've used a personal trainer before, but the ones at my current gym are mad expensive. What do you think, is it worth it to pay someone a hefty price just to stay on point? I'm debating giving it another shot. Been having a real hard time staying on track gym wise lately. Thoughts?

I had a lot of trouble staying focused with the D70, but my new D7000 focuses tack sharp and stays there. icon_biggrin.gif

If you struggle to maintain focus but you want it badly enough then hell YES it's worth the money!

How often do you change your routine? Is there anyone else who can workout with you? What types of services does your gym offer? Is there a way that you can workout on your own most of the time but see a trainer once in a while for help?

I think I'm going to see one maybe once every other week and see how that goes. I mainly just want to be held accountable to someone. Haven't had a workout partner in a while.

People find motivation in different places. You just have to find yours.

Can your trainer give you a workout that you can do on your own? That way, you can get a new workout periodically, which will challenge your muscles and help to keep you from getting bored. Getting a new routine from your trainer about once a month might be a good plan for you.
