When I see an attractive guy out in public,I take a mental note of everything I like about the guy,and then look at his ring finger.A friend of mine the other day was describing this guy in detail, that he thought was hot, he saw at the coffee shop. I asked, was the guy married? He said, "I don't know ,didn't think to look at his ring finger".I always do. Do you?

I do but it doesn't always mean what you think it means.
I knew some gay men who had divorced their wives years earlier and still wore their wedding bands. Their ex-wives were still their best friends. Then there are those guys who wear bands to keep from being asked if they're married. Others like the way they look. Some married men never wore wedding bands (my father). I wear my mother's wedding band on my pinkie (since it's too small). Also, it's important to look at both hands for rings- lefties will often wear on the right hand to prevent (watches and rings) interference.

i do. but don't know what difference that makes, since i've heard so many stories about 'married' guys hooking up with other i guess it's more to see if someone might be gay - if they're over a certain age and no wedding ring, they might just be gay. then again, with gay marriage in a handful of states, even that gets thrown off. but yeah, i still look.
