For Instance - one o' mine "so HORRIBLE its fun" films would be the 4th entry of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 4: THE NEXT GENERATION! wow, talk about a HORRIBLE sequel - YET it stars a early Renee Zellwegger & Matthew McConaughey!!! Though, this TCM film was made in '94. Bad acting, poor production, & horrible dialogue ensue! But, if you occassionally like to catch a bad bad YET funny horror movie w/ some beer or the occasional "toke" - you'll laugh your ass off!! icon_razz.gif

What are some o' yours "so bad its fun/good" horror films?

I love bad movies - the good ones, anyway.

I just bought GYMKATA on DVD for five bucks. What a classic! It stars Kurt Thomas, a world class gymnast who was shut out of the Olympics in real life when the USA boycotted Moscow. The story: a world class gymnast (guess who) is trained by the CIA to fuse his gymnastics skills with karate to invent a new martial art... GYMKATA!!!!!

Filmed in Cold War Yugoslavia, the highlight of the film is when our boy is chased into the main square of a town populated solely by criminally insane loonies, and miraculously finds a pommel horse to allow him to use his specialized skills!

So cheesy it's magnificent. I'm betting poor Kurt still has nightmares about the flick.

Crocodile. Totally ridiculous crocodile monster attacks college kids on spring break. Unintentionally funny. And the star of the film, Mark McSomething, is hot hot hot and has his shirt off for half the movie, revealing a perfect chest and shoulders, and makes it worth watching over and over and over icon_biggrin.gif

The best worst movie of all time is Troll 2. No question about it.

    Vampires Suck.

It was so terrible, but there were like 4 insanely funny scenes evenly placed throughout to make it worth sitting through icon_razz.gif

What I used to do it rent a crappy movie with a bunch of friends, then put it on mute and come up with our own dialogues.

    A coupe of suggestions:
    The Matrix Revolutions
    House of Wax
    Twilight

The Asylum is an American film studio and distributor which focuses on producing low-budget, usually direct-to-video productions. The studio has produced titles that capitalize on productions by major studios; these titles have been dubbed "mockbusters" by the press.

    Some of the "hits"

    The Day the Earth Stopped
    Snakes on a Train
    The Da Vinci Treasure
    Transmorphers
    Transmorphers: Fall of Man

    Really bad. Really bad.

I love cheesy b-grade horror flicks, I think the winner would have to be Frankenfish, that movie was freaking hilarious.

as a HORROR GEEK fan, I don't care much for The Asylum's "mockbuster" films - but I really really DID like their PARANORMAL ENTITY. It was actually goosebump inducing!
