Kinda confused... Are gay democrats more attracted to republicans?

You know that list a lot of RJers have in their profile? The one that lists 10 things that describe them and 10 things they are looking for? Almost every list I see says the guy is liberal but wants someone who is conservative. I don't know if this is an RJ thing or what, but it seemed pretty bizarre when I first started looking through profiles here.

Its not the "political' definition of 'conservative' they are using in their profiles LOL.

OP, you are so adorable that NO ONE is going to be bothered by your politics.

But for most everyone else, I think it matters a lot.

Seriously, you've found guys looking for their political opposite?

My partner and I have broadly different experiences......our tastes can vary A LOT.......and our skills are distinctly different

But when it comes to politics, we both love that we are Progressives.

WE CARE ABOUT THE COMMON GOOD....and we know that we all have to work together.

I would love him anyway just as I love some conservative, even friends who vote Republican way too much.

But I love his values-----and that means everything over the long haul of a relationship.
