What do you think this does to the company and how will it affect its stock price tomorrow?

It will go down a little and come right back up when AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint sell the 4s on Oct 14th.

This sounds really ridiculous of me to say, but I think with all the technological power Jobs should have focused some energy on producing medical equipment. There. I said it.

    R.I.P. Steve.

I logged into my trading account, and it said that trading in AAPL has been halted.

Totally ambivalent about it. I didn't know him and he didn't know me. I really don't care.

OMG. We just went through that in Canada with Jack Layton. Let's see how the fallout compares.

A sad time indeed. He was not CEO at the time of his death though.

I think Tim Cook will be a great success also.

I was at the gym tonight when all the large tv screens had to interrupt their regular programming to report on Mr. Jobs' death. Both my trainer and I were very saddened by the news. We all knew he was gravely ill, but the news of his passing is nevertheless very sad. What a great American visionary and inventor! May his soul rest in peace.

I worked for a design firm that created the cool, colorful image back in the day but i learned that money and ambition won't buy you health.

My very first computer was a Mac and I have never veered away. I remember when people would make fun of those of us who used MACs. Then came the iPod that changed the way we played and stored music. Then came the iPhone the changed the way we communicate. Then came the iPad. Steve Jobs was a rare revolutionary with a vision that changed the world. What an amazing life. He will never be forgotten. RIP.

I guess you're just going to not acknowledge how much he really helped advance technology throughout the years that helped shape today's world.

Why am I wasting my time posting a comment? Nobody will read it. My Steve Jobs was the cute guy who was starting an upstart company that would transform the computer world. Microsoft was an outcast who turned his ideas into what we have today.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” -Steve Jobs

Maybe you should reflect at how perhaps Steve Jobs changed the world you live in. Do you have an iPod?...an iPhone or other touch screen phone?...iPad?...Use Wi-Fi?...How about iTunes? People that leave behind that kind of legacy deserve respect. They made a difference. They changed the world.
