Apple products you own

With the sad news that Steve Jobs passed away today, I thought it would be interesting to know which Apple products everyone owns or uses on a regular basis and what they like/dislike about them.

    Me:

    iMac
    iPhone
    iPod

I love all three products, but there are also some features I don't care for.

On the iMac I love the speed, the 26" screen size of the monitor and how quickly it boots up. I love the wireless touch mouse, but would love it more if it had a right click button, also. I like the wireless keyboard, but I really miss having a numerical keypad on it.

There is very little I don't like about the iPhone or the iPod.

Zero. But I did use macs in college back in 1985! Those damn little things that kept asking you to put another 3.5 disc in. icon_wink.gif

I don't buy Apple because of the high price, the itunes DRM bullshit, and I prefer to use equipment (PCs) that the majority of the world is on.

    iPad 2
    MacBook Pro

A now deceased iPod touch that lasted me a good three years which is like amazing for an iPod

    iPod Nano for the gym

And hopefully soon the iPhone 4S to replace my horrible, crappy, P.O.S. Droid Eris (the really shitty cheap one that shouldn't even be considered a Droid)

    2 - Macbook Pro
    1 - iPad 2
    1 - iPod Touch
    1 - iPod Classic
    1 - iPod Nano
    2 - AppleTV

I've tried all the alternatives prior to going to Apple. I tend to end up returning all products made by other manufacturers and keeping the Apple product. It is just so much better. The only reason why I don't have an iPhone is because Sprint doesn't carry it. Really sad week, no iPhone 5 or Steve Jobs.

Yes but I don't want to break my contract to get the 4S and then having the 5 come out in a year. I have another year on my contract so I might as well might and save myself the cancellation fee and get a renewal discount when the 5 comes out. However since the 5 won't be under Job's direction it might just end up being a brick like most android phones.

iPod Classic 30GB (5th Gen): bought in Mar 2007 and still works great, although the battery doesn't hold a charge like it used to. Mostly it just sits hooked up to my home stereo, though I also use it when I teach Spin classes.

iPod Touch 16GB (1st Gen): my every-day iPod. It's a shame that it starts crashing when you try to use any of the other apps, or have the nerve to hit repeat on any track while it's playing, or recharge it in a way other than plugging it into the pc that has your iTunes library... So I use it as a straightforward music player, until it dies and I can replace it with a model that hopefully has these bugs fixed. I'll definitely be going for a 32GB, too.

iPhone 4, MacBook Pro, iPad 2, iPod Touch, iPod w/clickwheel (2003?)

These are all used a lot, and the simplicity of the OS makes it practical and easy to use. I enjoy them.

Since 1983 another 6 computers, and an impact tractor-feed printer and a 600 dpi laser printer. Never had a single failure with any Apple product (except for spilling coffee on a keyboard), just wanted the newer model.

My 3g fell out of my pocket onto a concrete boat dock, cracked and tumbled into a lake. I fished it out, and $25 (digitizer) later it's back in service. Dang thing won't die. Of course my husband was convinced at the time that I was really just trying to expedite getting a 4. icon_smile.gif
