What are 3 of your self-perceived flaws? Or maybe something you don't necessarily hide, but aren't quick to admit -

    I'll go first...
    1. I'm afraid of the deep end in the pool. I still go in it once in a while, but truth be told I don't like it.

    2. As a child I had a crush on Miss Piggy. She was bright, loud, in charge - perhaps this explains my obsession w/ Dolly Parton...

    3. I eat too much ketchup, as in put it on things which most others might not

Hey, NRG, that's ok, my grown son puts mayonnaise on his pizza! GROSS!

    1. I'm terrified of the ocean.

    2. I envy other men's bodies (it really urks me when the guys on this site say that they are jealous of other guys' muscles, because 9 times out of 10, the guy complaining has NOTHING to complain about! They look hot and sexy.)

    3. I'm really quite shy and naiive. That's why I'm not out yet (though it's coming just as soon as my wife gets up here from Nebraska and I can sit down and talk to her about it), because even though I had the chance in High School to play around with a college student, I didn't because I was too shy. That fuckin' ain't gonna happen after I come out, I wanna tell ya!

Well there's one thing I will NOT go near - I cannot stand mayonnaise. Ever since the first time I was given it as a small child - to this day, I even smell it and - well, it's not pretty. :)

Oddly I don't care for chocolate either.

    1) I'm quite judgmental. For example, I keep trying to remind myself that it's become standard practice, but at my core I tend to think there's something wrong with people who type "ur" rather than "your" or "you're" and things along those lines.

    2) I have a somewhat pathological drive to not be average. I try very hard to be good at basically everything I do, but there are times when I'd rather be legitimately bad at something than just be mediocre.

    3) Even though I've been actively trying to put on weight for a few years now, I still sometimes worry when I do. I fundamentally know that I'm quite skinny, but there are times when I worry about the small amount of fat that is on my belly.

    1. My shoulder's aren't broad.

    2. My age makes it close to impossible to have ripped abs without starving myself. (They're there, but slightly padded.)

    3. I only seem to be attractive to people who are hundreds of miles away.

RE: can duathlete - Recognizing one's weaknesses helps to bring about strength... and humility is good for the soal.

    OK

1 - I talk and sing to myself way too much.

2 - Sometimes I'll pull my car over to the side of the road and blast the music like a madman and dance like so for passers by to see.

3- I have seen Superman the movie about 100 times.

Oh boy - I feel my strengths coming on STRONG !

@Swiftjock - Point three describes a fairly common social psychological phenomenon known as "The Fundamental Attribution Error." In essence, you give yourself and your in-group more of a benefit of doubt than you give to strangers. It's probably a relatively useful survival skill if not blown out of proportion.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fundamental_attribution_error#Why_the_fundamental_attribution_error_occurs

    As for me:
    1. I often bluff vs asking questions when I don't know something because it makes me feel stoopid. I'm actually pretty good at it (pats self on back).

    2. I have high aspirations but lack the will or discipline to see them through.

    3. I often don't feel the love all around me and, instead, think it's "out there" somewhere.

    1. Least original... can't help but to have dark chocolate as a surrogate for sex, reading, writing, sleep, exercise, companionship, vacation, and did I say sex?

    2. I love to be extravagant, spendthrifty, and rather treat my friends, family, and dates, even when my balance is in the red

    3. I have a really hard time telling people off, unless I'm hungry, then I become the incredible Hulk (I guess that makes it for 2 entries)

    NRG579... you opened Pandora's box...

    Trebor965: lol!

    1. I judge people based on spelling and grammar. I have been working on this, but it just makes me cringe when I see it, and I associate the poor spelling with a negative attribute of the person.

    2. I am a perfectionist. This prevents me from achieving goals, or rather I set unrealistic goals and expect too much of myself. Then I become discouraged when I do not achieve the goals.

    3. I like recognition for my academic success. If I win an award in sports, or if I get a certificate for volunteering, I really don't care one way or another if anyone but me knows about those things. But for some reason I want people to know I am smart. Is there a such thing as a fear of stupidity?

    2. I have a deffinite fear of falling and drowning.

    3. one of my other flaws is that i hate stupid drivers, they make the road unsafe for everyone.

Three flaws of mine(to start with anyway...):
(1)9/10 is never good enough for me.I always want that damn 10!

(2)A tendency to behave the way I think others want/expect me to.

(3)Insufficently proud of my own personal achievements.

There`s plenty more where that came from...

    1. I have always hated my physique. When i was fat i hated it... now that i'm skinny i hate it. It's never good enough
    A. I tattoo myself partialy to permenantly cover my body.

    2. When I'm in dance classes i am constantly scared that i am never good enough and i hold myself back to be cautious. Even when I know i know what i'm doing, I will hold back because i'm scared... of what i have NO idea... not like there are dance police or something.

    3. I still wish i had superpowers!
