This Saturday, the U. S. Marine Corps sent recruiters to a San Gabriel Valley Pride event held at Pasadena City College. Check it out here:

Other branches of the service were invited; the Marines were the only ones who showed up. They sent eight men, gave away free stuff, challenged everyone to a session with the pull-up bar, and apparently seemed very earnest about recruiting.

I'm proud of the Marine Corps. Coming so soon after the official repeal of DADT, I can't think of a better way to send the message that it's really over, and gays are now welcome to serve.

a local radio talk show comedian sez that what with the death (FINALLY!) of "DADT", the marines have changed their recruiting slogan to:

"the few, the proud, the FABBuuLOUSSSS!

And how is this different from before? Oh, ACTIVELY recruiting, as in, a conscious decision. I see what you mean now.
Honey, everyone knows Marines are the best bottoms. And who can count the number of gay porn stars with USMC tattoos?
