I feel like there's a lot of negativity in the world; hate crimes, bullying, unemployment, and while we definitely need to discuss those issues in order to change them, sometimes it's good to focus on the small things that make you happy (I KNOW CORNY icon_redface.gif ) .

I'll start, I love watching my dogs sleep, they look so relaxed like babies, I could spend hours looking at them sleep. icon_redface.gif

When my best friend drops me off at my house after some hangouts at night, he doesn't pull away till I get my key and body in the door successfully.

    How adorable is that?

The support of friends when I'm going through a bad moment. Nothing makes me happier and fuzzy inside like seeing them care and going the extra mile for my well-being.

Thinking about him, you haven't spoken in a while... holding your phone and looking at his name on your contact list...
only to receive a text from him that very moment, excited to catch up.

When he calls and says, "It's good to hear your voice. . . "

Snuggled off in a corner of the bookstore, reading

That moment when you're drifting off to sleep and you're half-conscious

Watching a "comfort movie" on DVD (something you've seen 100 times and it always makes you feel good to watch it)

When your friends and cousins feel really comfy around you, enough to piss at same time or walk around naked, or ask for some lube and with the excess, not want to 'waste it' so they do yours.

Finding a long past friend whether of yours or of your cousin. Doesn't even matter that he is even more arrogant and self centered than ever and dismisses denies you as you tell him your cousin considered him an intregal turning point in in his life during hi school. Maybe some pictures taken would 'refresh his memory, ofc I'm like that, my cuz isn't

An unexpected out of the blue just because hug though has to be the best!!!

When someone thanks me or at least smiles for something nice I did. Also when I help random strangers in small ways. icon_smile.gif

OH and buying new soap and shampoo always makes me EXTREMELY happy icon_smile.gif even if it's cheap ones!

Helping my neighbor find loving homes for the stray and abandoned, neutered cats and dogs she's rescued here in Los Angeles, California.

Helping people in general, and matching them up with what really matters in their lives, though not always a small thing, makes me feel happy & fuzzy inside, yet at this moment (and it seemed perfectly within the title you started this forum with), it's helping these particular animals find you all out there who can really use a small and furry addition to the joys in your life.

And if you have no joy, or lacking a bit, cats and dogs are an amazing antidote, or at least a great sugar pill to make a pleasing difference (these animals are not for those looking for punching bags, or hate sponges to get their anger out on, please - and i know most of us are not like that, but it just must be said).

She has too many animals for one property, and animal control is pressuring her to find homes for them, or expect the animals to be trapped, put into a shelter, and will have very little time for anyone to find them, and if not; put to death.

She has three small dogs in need of homes, and about four cats.

She has a site set up called, Silent Roar Pet Rescue (dot org).

When I see them, and they come to me for attention, that too gives me a fuzzy and warm feeling inside, and then knowing what's going to happen to takes that away, but then i remember how honored i am to be in there presence and love in the time we're able to share now, and then i'm warm and fuzzy inside again :-)

Random texts or comments from close friends that are simple like "Hope you are doing ok" or "have a great day buddy"

^^ I got one of these a few days ago from a random person and it was quite nice.

That was the serious one...here's the funny one

"small things" don't make warm and fuzzy... I like big things!icon_rolleyes.gif

Stretching forth mine arm and laying hold of mine battle-axe to cleave open the skulls of mine enemies, and hewing them down as cords of wood.

Even to smite the heathen with an great slaughter, that I may dance upon their slain carcasses and thus be filled with joy.

Yea, and then shall I return to mine dwelling to consume much mead and ravish the booty I have plundered, and to perform many quasi-procreative activities that probably would not beget me any sons.

Writing in King James-esque Bible-language gives me the warm fuzzies.
