So I've met this guy, that I like. At least I think I like him. He was pretty direct about his attraction to me. He's a bar tender and when I visited him there last Sat he payed a lot of attention to me. He called me when he got off of work but my sister was staying with me. We couldn't hang the next day because my sister was with me.

Last Sat at the bar a mutual friend went up to him and said something. Then Bar Tender said, "No, I'm single; But Vaughn's my boyfriend... I'm single." That made my week.

I met him a while ago but he only expressed interest a week from Sunday. He asked me for my number then said he was looking forward to seeing me in his bed later. He left abruptly so that never happened. We text back and forth all last week.

He didn't text me back though on Sunday. Should I text him again or maybe call him? Should I wait for him instead? We are supposed to hang on Wed. I generally don't get excited like this. I'm in Tucson for the school year, a place where convenience and limited options drives relationships. I'd like him even if I wasn't in Tucson but I'm afraid of letting this one get away.

I'd suggest using a breathable cloth bag if you're putting it over his face. Brown paper bags, while stereotypical, can be scratchy and constricting.

Stick with your gut. Send him the note you want to send. Don't game this then have regrets later. If a simple text turns him away then he isn't the man for you. My 2 cents.

A bar tender can be like a kid in a candy store. They get hit on all the time.
I don't remember if you're out or not, but if you're not out that may be a problem for him, by telling him you can't meet because your sister is there most of the time. You need to find out if he even wants a boyfriend.
Bar tenders, although not all...but most are not boyfriend material. There's just too much temptation there, they can have a different bf every night. Sorry if im raining on your parade GL

There isn't a right or wrong answer. Timing is a big factor. Also, he is a bartender which means he's accessible to a lot of people. I would just take it slow and jerk off a lot. That will help you keep a clear head, literally. Good luck man!

He hit on me... Aggressively. My sister met him that night. She liked him a lot and has pushed me a bit to like him. She was crashing with me and in my bed. She goes to Davis, I go to UA. my sister and I went to Octoberfest the following day at Mt Lemmon. Hanging out was not an option.

I believe I mentioned in my original post that there aren't a lot of options here in the gay community.

This is really a tough situation . I am currently playing the do I or don't I text game. I think he likes me based on the constant comments about my body; but I sent him a text good morning monday, and the fucker didn't bother responding back until tuesday at 7 pm. I am just gonna play it cool and see what happens. I am not crazy about him so I will get over it!

    Bagging a man:

    1. Cut the guy up at each major joint, and bag up the entrails and any incidental soft flesh that comes off. Drain the corpse into the bathtub with running water - all of this will reduce the bag weight as you drag the remains into the hills to bury, or to your local sausage shop to grind down into dog food... or preferably, to mix into cement forms and dump off in a deep lake, or wrap in chains with additional weights.

    2. Use a SawzAll (reciprocating saw) with a blade for cutting metal for best results.

    3. Particular attention should be paid to cut off the hands and feet and burn them completely to ash, and to remove the head and grind down any remaining teeth that cannot be easily extracted on a bench grinder.

    4. Dispose of the head remains and the body in separate locations to throw off the fuzz and the Feds

    5. ????

    6. PROFIT!

Wow life used to be so easy before. Ask him if he likes you enough to hang around together and go places. If he says no, keep looking! Oy Vey.

well its clear he likes you and went after you... so did you reciprocate or play hard to get? Maybe you need to turn it around and be a little aggressive?

Don't get too caught up in things. Gay men are great for getting cold feet--but you want to give him a chance, too. Nothing says a bartender--or anyone else--can't be a good boyfriend or partner. So, do your thing, be nice to him, be good to youself and others, and love life. The rest will sort itself out.

By the way, I'd add that learning to find that center inside was really hard for me...I'm only now getting to where I can take a deep breath, relax, and go with the flow. Hoping you are a faster learner than me! ;-)
