This just came off the AP, not sure if it's true, but if it is this is probably good news for Romney.

Out of the selection I'm not surprised he would endorse him. There really isn't anyone in the top 3 frontrunners now to support that's better.

I kind of wish he would have waited a bit to see how the race really takes shape leading into the first primaries. I also wish he would have endorsed Jon Huntsman instead of Romney

Jon Huntsman would have issues down the road with his comments about Obama's failed foreign policy while a the same time taking part in the administration with foreign policy. Wouldn't he then be partially responsible according to his own words in helping to make the administration's foreign policy a failure? At least that's what I understand...

Huntsman is great and I wish someone like him would overtake Romney, but it's just not possible.

I just can't see at this point in the race someone else jumping in and being able to create the momentum necessary? I think Romney is going to be the painfully mediocre but only choice.

Christie is backing Romney all the way to the convention where he'll be offered the second slot on the ticket. You read it here first.

Nah, he doesn't want to be #2 to anybody. He also made a commitment to the people of New Jersey to finish what he started there. To accept a V.P. nod would make him look like he didn't mean all that.
