So I figured now that I've gotten most of my Occupy photos done that it would be cool to see how Tea Party v Occupy works in a photo essay format.

If you have photos from either event (that YOU took) post them!

First up would be a couple of Tea Party event's in Philly (2009)

Uhh, when your grandfather died in the war fighting to have economic freedom over the growing influences of communism and socialism around the world?

It's even shocking people would have signs like this or even think like this? I really don't think humanity learns from its mistakes, it just recycles everything.

Liked the No taxation without representation sign. A good part of the group, 50% of the 99% doesn't pay taxes anyway, so they don't really need to worry about representation part of it. icon_lol.gif

Who knew people would still fall for that propaganda so many decades later.

Do you even realize that you wouldn't be able to really even express your opinions in the society that you seem to want? That's what's ironic about it.

southbeach1500 saidInteresting editorial choices made, besides the obvious choices of picking out photos to make the Tea Party look "extreme" and "crazy" and the "Occupy" photos look "sane" and "reasonable."

Tea Party photos in black and white.

    "Occupy" photos in color.

To keep things "equal" you should have converted the "Occupy" photos to black and white.

Tea party photo's looked terrible in color, Occupy photos looked awful in B&W

But you say there is no 'color' at the tea party events.
