This guy, Beau Elvis, is the current Teen Bodybuilder of the Week on Bodybuilding.com. He's 19, and he's this big!?!? icon_eek.gif He HAS to be roiding! This can't possibly be natural for someone his age. Thoughts? Feelings?

I think it's hard to say. When your that age you have so many natural hormones and testosrone going through you I think it could be possable to get that big naturally. When I was 21 I weighed in at 165 pounds, and looked amazing. I have never weighed or have been as big since.

No dude, he is roiding. It takes time to build muscle. Unless he has been body building since he was 9 he has to be roiding to get that big.

I"m not sure about that Chainers. I own a small health club and have seen a few guys around the ages of 18-22 get really big really fast and know for a fact that they were not using drugs to get the job done. One guy works for me, while he's not as big as this guy I know a few people have wondered.

Without a blood test we could never know for sure, but I do think there is a chance it's natural. Course, I always have been a bit to trusting, giving people the benifit of the doubt.

jpBITCHva saidI think he's not. One of the telltale signs of juicing is that the vertical partition between the abs starts to separate, pushing one column left and one right. I don't see that in this picture.

Um, Ive never heard that. I think the abs positions are set genetically. That will happen normally to some.

One of the telltale signs Ive noticed is bacne. But then again everyone experiences it differently and photoshop works wonders.

How do you know for a fact that they are not using drugs? I mean, were you watching them every waking moment to see if they werent using roids?

I think people can gain size fast, I sure did this year when I ate a ton more, but at the same time a lot of people cheat.

I think Im also the centerfold for steroid use, you can start to tell by looking at really muscular guys, then seeing guys extremely more muscular than them.

He doesn't look roided to me. Many of these dudes DO start at like 9 or 10 now. There was that kid who at age 12 had a better body than I could ever hope to have.

I think this dude has genetics on his side and ALOTTA gym time.

I don't agree with "disgusting"(in my eyes, he's quite hot) but I do agree that he DOES NOT look like a teenager, or even someone in their 20's.

I think he looks late 20s but not "un-natural."

    Ill agree with not unnatural,

He looks like he has worked out for 10 long hard years, which is why I say steroids. I dont think he has been body building since 9, and it takes time to build up that muscle. Being 19 makes it an unnatural look to me.

I like how we're so vain as to judge people solely on their appearance, but if they use chemicals to get there, oh no that's just crossing the moral line. How dare they.. icon_rolleyes.gif

I don't know if he is or not, I don't really care either.

I know, the bacnae is so appealing :-).

Its like saying "I love how much the academic system rewards intelligent thought, but if you cheat to get there, well, thats a WHOLE NOTHER STORY LOLOLOLOL!"

Yea, its kind of not the same as the hard work that the people who did it naturally did...

I don't think I made any judgment. The question was if he had not if he should.

We all enter the system with advantages and disadvantages. The mere fact some people can afford a gym membership and a personal trainer is an unfair advantage to those who cannot. Yet, we place an artificial line at steroids to legitimize all the other things people do to gain an advantage. "Natural" anything is a ridiculous premise based on an impossible standard. None of us are on even footing.

Your analogy is also faulty. If you want to make it, Using the book to take your test is cheating when other students are not permitted to do it. Using the book when all students are permitted to do it is not cheating. Assuming he is competing with other teen bodybuilders for this ridiculous recognition, being on or off steroids is not a disqualifier. His competition can use steroids as well.
