I never been to the PR, but I did some brief research and at this point it's time to start making plans. Living here in Denver I'm suffering from Latino deficiency.

When I lived in Florida, I used to date Puerto Rican guys all the time. But it's strange out here, even when I come across guys who are; they act all like they don't want to associate with Black people or something. And then most of the Mexicans out here don't really be interested either. I mean, don't get me wrong there are a few who are but it seems to take forever for it to happen.

So, I did a little experiment and put up a thing on a dating site in Puerto Rico. Every single response I got was from a Puerto Rican guy. Here, it's like every 3 or 4 months someone Hispanic I like will message me.

That's why I keep saying it's all about location location. Here I feel like the 'niche' Black guy some days (as in have to accept crumbs for those who are 'into that' icon_rolleyes.gif whereas in Puerto Rico I may not get liked by everyone, but I'll damn sure have better luck than this shit anyday. When I lived in South Florida, I used to date some fine ass guys back in the day, and now I can barely remember what it's like anymore.

I even remember when I went to Atlanta of all places, the only guy I hooked up with happened to be this FINE ass guy who was PR from NY.

Anyway, if you're from PR say hello! Anyone know flight specials let me know too. I know it used to be mad cheap to get there from Orlando and Miami.

I'm confused, are you saying you're havign a hard time with Puerto Rican guys? or.... what?
I was in Puerto Rico last march, and honestly, had no issue with the men there. met a great guy, had a lot of fun, and we still chat to this day.

but your whole post is confusing on the specific topic you're looking for or bringing up?

No! Gosh no, did you even read anything? icon_eek.gif

In a nutshell I was saying it seems like if I want to be able to have the option to regularly date Latino guys that will lead up to something substantial, that it will probably never happen here, but it's much more of a reality with Puerto Rican guys. Judging from the responses from the dating profiles there. I got numerous responses, everyone who responded were Puerto Rican, and naturally I find myself more attractive to the guys who responded to me. Not all, but a few.

In Denver, apparently there are Puerto Rican guys here but it's like 0.1% or something. Most are Mexican. So far I haven't dated any since I lived here and even in Texas for that matter I only met 1 Puerto Rican guy in 2 years!

It's just discouraging that here, sometimes I'll email the Latin guys on dating sites here and get no response. I can rarely get the type of Latin guy I want to get out here. Or they never email me, or they email me but aren't my type. I can count the amount of Mexican guys I've dated since I've been here. Once last June, another last October of last year, and then the last time was mother's day. That's only 3 guys. Why I gotta wait that long in between dates? I shouldn't HAVE to. I used to date 3 guys at 1 time, and I didn't even have the body that I do now!

It just goes to show, these Mexicans out here may not find me particularly attractive, but I can go to Puerto Rico and meet guys who think I am attractive...who are even more attractive than the Mexican guys here. That's how life should be. Easy. It shouldn't have to be a constant struggle to date the type of guys you want to date. I want a man who's going to speak Spanish to me in bed LOL...And Puerto Rican guys love to do that.

Come 2012, it's no more accepting crumbs and tidbits. It's time to move overseas...

Puerto Rican men are the best. I have had some of the best sex with them. And you are right, about some of the other latino men. I have dated a few Mexicans, but most of them prefer to date other Mexicans.

Go and visit. I didn't want to leave P.R. last time that I visited. I was there for 6 weeks. My ticket was like 230 roundtrip from Atlanta.

I went back in college with my two best friends who were twins of Cuban Descent, many of their relatives went there during the Cuban crisis. Anyway, we stayed 3 weeks with different family members in old San Juan, and during that time completely circled the Island taking in all the highlights, we also went to the mountains where a rain forest existed, it was great and oh what beautiful beaches, especially the horse shoe shaped beach, I'll try to spell it 'Luquillo Beach', greenhopper can correct my spelling if its wrong. It was at one end of that beach where a small stream came down into the beach water that I saw a man carrying a bike over his head in the shoulder deep creek. When he came out he was naked and looked like the Puerto Rican version of a greek god. MMMMM MMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM !!!!

I'm not Puerto Rican, but I can imitate a Canarian accent very well, which is the ancestor of the Puerto Rican and other Caribbean Spanish accents icon_smile.gif I'll tell you dirty things if you like, papaĆto.
