    I lived in the city all my life, and I am wondering if there any good places to meet other young, professional guys that aren't cruisy... I'm just looking for some friends, so any suggestions would be much appreciated!

    My group of friends are not really into any scene really so it's hard to say where you'd meet young professional types. I have a great circle of friends but forget how some of even met.

    We are engineers, doctors, lawyers, business analysts, marketers and scientists, but our personality and interests range from jock, to geek (me), indy, slut, and etc.

    I would suggest getting to know people vs. seeing them as a potential lover. I met all of mine at a time I was committing myself to my studies and trying to graduate as fast as I could. I had no time for dating and never opened myself to it in uni. I'm still very close to my friends, but we are all over the place now, and some aren't even in the same country. I myself moved to Ottawa but I've met so many new friends.

    Funny you should mention this... The Toronto gay gamers are meeting up this Saturday the 22nd and it's zombie/zombie hunter themed. If you don't mind getting fake blood on you, and have an interest in video games, then feel free to drop by, it's at Ogrady's on church and wellsey, between 3 and 10, all are welcome (as long as you're not being cruel and offensive, safe space and all ;) )

    For professional types we have a bunch of bankers there, as well as a personal trainer or 2... Well from what I remember ^.^;

    We meet up once a month there and it's a pretty fun time either the 2nd or 3rd week of the month too.

    I know the best spot.

    You take the 401 highway, towards East. You stop when you're in Montreal. There.

    My bf and I made plans in Ottawa to look at Condo finishings and interior design...yeah i know...

    I love anything to do with zombie apocolypse! My bf bought me Dead Island for my bday and I've been playing it when I have time.

    Why do gay men turn every forum into a bitch fight? You're worse than the women I am surrounded by at work, and they are genetically unable to live together.What's your excuse?

    I've lived in Toronto my entire life, I'm a professional, I don't have & looking to make new gay friends (not just to date), I don't like the bar/club scene, I'm not into hook-ups. It boggles my mind how many guys like us are out there, but we are always just looking. I think it's time to stop looking and start meeting.

    Judging from the sheer number of great and/or great-looking guys on this site from Toronto, I figure you can just stand on a streetcorner with a sign that says "RealJock 123" and within minutes someone will say "hi." icon_wink.gif

    Quit hogging them, TO! icon_neutral.gif

    From what I've seen on here, Toronto is absolutely rammed full of hot men. I think it's probably the hottest city on earth in terms of man-candy.

    Just message some guys on here and get chatting, break the ice online before you meet in person.
