socalfitness saidexcept for non-regular posters who don't know better

And especially when almost all the posts in the thread are by the OP.

Clutters the page, draws attention away from other threads, and because brevity (shortness) and conciseness (compactness of expression) are virtues.

Just tested the ignore feature. Before it did not suppress the threads, but just the posts from the person ignored. Now it completely suppresses the threads really cleaning up the page, removing the clutter. I prefer to not use that forum feature, so maybe if enough agree that shorter titles are better, more members will comply.

So because it annoys you, you want to boycott it? Alright.

All the bait threads, filled to the brim with biased, half-truthed, and often skewed information by some posters who day in and day out make it their unpatriotic duty to continuously without restraint bash the President, and anyone involved with him is equally as cluttering, drawing attention away from other threads, and drapped in motivations of hate. Make one thread, post all the anti-obama shit in there and be done with it. But then they wouldn't really be able to rock the boat would they?

Whatever, to each their own. Read what you want, look over what you don't, and if you don't have the self-discipline to ignore what it is you don't like then you should probably shut the computer down now.

I can filter out, but maybe others not so much. Anyway, not worth getting worked up about. I just think it is an obnoxious habit, but to each his own.

Probably because it's absurd that someone that starts a thread can't give it a simple thread heading, and put the rest of their thought into the body of the 1st post. If you go down the list of threads, it is almost always the same poster. Not sure if he is deliberately trying to make a point to be obnoxious, or just doesn't know any better.

They realize that no one is going to bother reading the thread so have to super-saturate the subject line with their spam propaganda soundbites & slogans.

I propose a boycott of all threads that have neither substance nor reason for even being in existence.
But that would severely decrease the amount of forum activity...down to nothing.

One would think that they'd get that when there's almost nothing, but their posts within that thread?
