"Happiness is when what we think, what we say, and what we do are in harmony." I'm quoting someone else... I don't remember who wrote it first though, but when I saw it, it felt happiness to me.

Indeed, my dear chum ... See you at the beach !

Happiness to me is the way the Ocean can shatter your facade, the way it brings about a burst of happiness; how it renews, the icy cold depths - The blue and green dream... the soft sandy bottom for safe crash landings, the dance of tangling sea kelp. The sun watery and glistening from above - A jellyfish of bright white light.

Caro amico poet, your happiness is contagious

    Little did I know
    the talking about happiness
would turn magnets into ocean waves
    sweet treats to my senses
    flesh and water into dance

Happiness is enjoying the little things in life, spending time with friends and family and yes, feeling the ocean breeze sweep through your hair while the one you love has his arm around, enjoying the silence between two connected humans.

Also, when people can post things under the correct catagories

    A smile on your face.

It's as simple as that. If you want to be happy, then smile.

    Wow, love every take...
It seems like there is more of us that find it within ourselves, and with those close to us, less with stuff...

    "Last night I caught
    the happy virus
    dancing underneath the stars.
    It's extremly contagious,
    so
    kiss me"

Happiness is doing what you want to do in life and getting paid to do it.

Here are some other happy things:

    new love

    new Nightclubs

    new shoes

    Eating a big breakfast

    Going out with friends

    Buying your own home

    Going drving

looking in the mirror and realizing how hot you are!

Happiness for me is just having the people around you that you love/love you. I mean, at the end of your life, it isn't going to be the money and career standing next to your death bed showing you love....it's gonna be the people in your life.

On a non-people level though, I make wine. I love wine, I love grapes, I love the soil and everything having to do with it. Happiness is being able to wake up and tend those vines, hoping some horrible storm isn't going to come along and wipe everything out, haha. In the fall, my friends and family come out and help me pick and crush the grapes, and that's a pretty sweet experience. We eat, we drink, play a few games....it's family. More importantly, it reminds me of the very Italian upbringing I've had...family is everything.

so, it's a bit on the cheesier end of things, but I think that's happiness for me. :-)

    Nicely put, CMON....

Happiness, for me, is seeing my partner when I enter a room - or hear the back door open, knowing it's him - or seeing his ring on the cell phone. All reminders that this wonderful man is part of my life, and lets me be part of his.

w/o getting too, "deep," I'll say - that there are times when I hop on this site and I notice a message from a particular person, or see that so-and-so is online, and I get a big ol' goofy grin on my face. Can't help it. And I hafta say a certain amount of momentary giddiness comes over me.
