    HELP FOR OCCUPY EVENTS....

As more and more people are 'awakening' to corporate greed, growing unemployment, political indifference and the unbelievable behavior of the 'banksters'....the likelihood of arrests will also grow as a result of civil disobedience. If you or anyone you know has been arrested, please contact the National Lawyers Guild:

    - New York City - [212] 679-6018
    - Los Angeles - [323] 696-2299
    - Washington DC - [202] 957-2445
    - Chicago - [773] 309-1198
    - San Francisco - [415] 285-1011
    - New Orleans - [504] 875-0019
    - Baltimore - [410] 205-2850
    - Minnesota - [612] 656-9108
    - Michigan - [313] 963-0843
    - Portland - [503] 902-5340
    - Boston - [617] 227-7335
    - Pennsylvania/Delaware - [267] 702-4654
    - Idaho - [208] 991-4324

Be very sure to write the applicable phone number in PERMANENT marker somewhere concealed on your body, protected from the elements. Do NOT assume you will be able to retrieve the number from a phone or a notebook. It is very likely you will be stripped of all your belongings.

    1. This thread and everything in it makes you look like an ignoramus
    2. "Banksters" nor "Wall Street" are responsible for this mess.
    3. If you really want to blame someone or something then take it out on congress (our government) because they are the ones making the rules. Banks did not break any rules nor the law.
    4. In simple terms, the banks were simply following the destructive federal rules which mandated they give out so many bad loans, which subsequently destroyed the economy.
    5. The party mostly responsible for pushing that banks engage in this destructive activity was the democratic party all in the name of increasing home-ownership diversity and to make housing more "affordable". Bad policies are always cloaked in wonderful intentions. Bush and other fiscally irresponsible republicans joined in and endorsed this bullshit -- all because they wanted to look good. If they hadn't then the democrats and liberals would still be screaming about how racist lenders are and how conservatives "hate" poor people.
    6. The problem is mixing government with capitalism -- crony capitalism.

I won't even grovel down to your level of thinking and risk the dignity of an argument here!

It's obvious that you have your head stuck in a cesspool otherwise you would see how the banks are indeed partly responsible for the mess that this country is in!

I base this claim off of nothing and feel the need to show no facts.

Sorry, thought that sentence was missing. It makes the claim above so much better.
