Once, because I was trolling this guy from Texas and I set up a fake date with him for lulz. I had him convinced that I lived there and everything.

Other than that, no. I am very reliable for showing up on time.

I did this past Sunday. But it wasn't that bad and it wasn't for a date or anything.

I was REALLY drunk and this hot guy I know wanted me to go home with him. For some unknown reason I said ok (I am not really into meaningless sex) and he had to pay his bar tab and wanted me to meet him outside. Well I finally came to my senses so I didn't go meet him. I saw him wait for like 5 minutes and see me still inside talking then he decided to leave. I felt a little bad but if I went and talked to him I was afraid I would be persuaded to actually go.

Luckily he was just as drunk so it wasn't awkward when I talked to him yesterday. Phew!

Hahahaha. That is pretty funny but in reality if you did it once (for lulz at that) then you could very well easily do it again for the reason.

I've never stood anyone up and I've never been stood up.

Yes, I have - myself, God and a few guys unlucky enough to have met me.

I did it because I am a loser.

However, that was some time ago, so I may be less of a loser now than I was then.

    Or not.

No way but I've cut a first date off early when it was obviously going really, really badly. But I was polite about it.

Never intentionally, but I realized I blew off an appt. once & called to reschedule & apologize (I had written it into the calendar incorrectly). At no time have I ever stood someone up socially or for a date. If I didn't want to see someone, I wouldn't have made the date in the first place.

I did, the very first time I met a guy for dinner, before I came out or accepted my sexuality. He had encouraged dinner and we set up a time and I basically chickened out. It was years ago. I later apologized, was honest and we set up another dinner date and I showed.

Yeah. Sophomore and junior years of college, before I came out, two or three times I agreed or set up to meet with a guy but would flake. Usually I'd set up to meet them for a drink at 11 or 12 or whatever (which is early for New Orleans) but then just chicken and never leave my friends.

And I'd flake hard. Then I'd feel just awful about it and wouldn't respond to any follow-up contact of theirs because that somehow seemed better to me. These were strictly never hookups either. These were always first or second dates.

But I've been stood up too: seven months ago a guy asked me out and we set a time a week in advance. We never confirmed with each other, and I showed up but he didn't. Four days later he bought me lunch to make up for it. We've been together since.

Only assholes stand guys up on dates. I certainly never would. If you change your mind call or text and have the kindness to say so.

I don't know wether the same rules apply when hooking-up, but there was this one guy whom I had contact with. We exchanged pics, but he 'had no cam'. So I decided to meet anyway. I know stupid of me.
Anyhow when he opened the door, he was not what he looked like on his pics at all. I don't know what the hell he was thinking. Maybe he thought I'll trick him to come here and he will just hook up anyway? When he opened the door and I saw I had been duped I was mad. Still just made up an excuse and left directly after he opened the door. He knew damn well what was up.

Fact is I didn't stand him up, cause I had been talking to a different guy. The guy whose pictures this troll had been using. I had decided to meet that guy, not this sorry excuse of a human being
