The musical Zanna, Don't! is about a high school where all the smart kids are more popular than the dumb kids, being gay is the norm, and being straight is abnormal. In one scene, two guys briefly smooch. Big deal, right?

Well it looks crap... I'd have Walked out too, I'm not a fan of the after school special genre.... And this is basically one on steroids

It's not that I wouldn't have agreed with the overal message, I'd have found it patronising. On a level similar to if a purple dinosaur jumped out and asked to sing a song about sharing

haha, the football players walked out cos they were too scared to watch something with a gay storyline..... pussies!

that said, sitting through any high scool musical sounds like torture to me. but I doubt the jocks walked out because they're cultural snobs icon_lol.gif

As they say, the Hardest person to make Eye contact with is the TRUTH. Half of the Walkers-Out were probably Closet cases themselves...

It's ridiculous though, even by their own standards. They're trying to make a point and an example, but the only message they are getting across is that they are close-minded and pretty much affirming the stereotype of "dumb jock." What are they trying to say? That footballers don't condone gay? That Footballers AREN'T gay? That footballers don't support equal rights? They're pretty much just making themselves look like the bigger bitches, honestly.

    You Stay Classy, Hahtfahd.
