"straight" men do not have sex with men.

    Bi-curious and gay men DO.

I had sex with a straight guy once, I think I ruined his life because he was so confused afterwards, he really was straight but he liked what we did- not that we did a lot since he came in 3 seconds, literally 3 seconds icon_eek.gif , now I'm only interested in guys who are 100% gay. icon_cool.gif

He wasn't straight. By God, straight by definition means only into women.Once you cross that threshold, at least in the good ol' US of A, you are bi-curious, or bi-sexual, not straight. Now does this mean that there are less straights out there than advertise, perhaps, but as a strict interpreter of the definition; no, straight is not the aforementioned post, nor is it any man willing to engage in friendly tomfoolery with other gents.

Thanks for the article. An eye opener.

I've been in situations with straight guys where there was a lot of physical energy going on.

One straight friend (who had a girlfriend) joked about coming to my apartment and cleaning it while naked in just his cowboy boots. I never took him up on it, thinking he was confused and might resent me later. But, it was probably a fantasy he wanted to play out with another guy. It was my fantasy too, because the sight of a naked guy in boots is hot. icon_biggrin.gif

Nothing new. Take away all that superflous verbiage and everyone fits onto a scale between totally gay and totally straight.

    From article:

"Straight men who have sex with men do so for a variety of reasons. Some have been sexually abused and are compulsively reenacting childhood sexual trauma by male perpetrators; some find sexual release with another man more accessible; some have sex with men because it's easier and requires fewer social skills than those required to have sex with women; some are "gay for pay" and get financial rewards; some like the attention they receive from other men; some like anal sex, which they're otherwise too ashamed to talk about or engage in with their female partners."

Dang, science finally identifies why there are so many rude gay biotches.icon_razz.gif

Sounds like a bad porno flick...gone in 3 seconds. icon_sad.gif

But I agree with you. Ultimately, having sex with a straight guy is a dead end. Better to find a 100% gay guy who self identifies that way. icon_wink.gif

To me, that logic is like saying if someone has tried drugs once then they are a drug addict. However, maybe (in that example) they are just "someone who tried drugs once".

There was a recent forum here on RJ about a gay guy who had slept with a woman a few nights before and he was confused if that meant he was bisexual. The majority of responses suggested just because he slept with a woman once doesn't make him bi. The same could be true of a straight guy that decided to "try things out" with a guy.

I am curious if you feel that the gay guy who slept with a woman must be truly bisexual? Based on your comments above I would expect you to apply equal logic in that case and suspect you would view him as bi (although I don't want to put words in your mouth).

Sure a lot of guys who are looking to have sex with other guys on a regular basis could be classified as bisexual. However I think to use a broad brush to paint anyone who has done something once with a guy, as bisexual, is black and white thinking in the extreme.

The world is far more "gray" than that.

Im usually a very black and white type thinker but I've gotta give in to this one. This argument is pretty legit. I've had sex with a girl once - doesn't mean I liked it or that I will EVER do it again...

the whole "gay for pay" thing though - I don't buy into that.

Well, would I say said RJ member is 100% gay, no, not if out of his own volition he randomly decided to engage in tomfoolery with a woman. Now of course I would not hold that standard to everyone, as I myself am guilty of that. However, it is important to note that many of us had sex with women when we did because society expected us to do so, and although we knew deep down it wasn't our desire, merely societal pressure. A man on the other hand who just decides to engage in sex with another man is not entirely straight. Society's sword matters here to. The man that chooses to engage in sex with another man, is not only fulfilling his desire, he is doing it in a society that still considers it taboo to some extent. So for him to push past that pressure and it's negative connotations, there has to be something more than passing interest, hence my contention of at least bi- curiosity.

So what you're saying is... I should start hitting on one out of every ten married men I see?

    Duly noted.

If you wanna have sex with straight men, grow a vagina.

The reality is that, fantasies aside, straight guys aren't very good at gay sex (obviously). Give me a 100% gay guy any day of the week.

I made the mistake once to hookup with a Married guy (I didn't know he was married at the time..) from my gym. He would take his ring off when there.

Me & him were among others late one evening in the gym weightlifting, & he would follow me around then began to talk to me. I went along w/ it thinking it was innocent harmless fun...

Until we went to his house & we fooled around, got off - then as I was getting dressed his wife arrived home.

Know of those comical scenario's when one is LITERALLY shoved into a closet of the house to be hidden until the coast is clear? Yeah, that happened to me.

Talk about being NERVOUS as F**K! icon_evil.gif
