It's great seeing people stick up for their principles. I saw the protesters last weekend when I was in New York. My hotel was in the financial district and I got to see the crowds. Lots of police presence, but not sure if that's normal for the area, or if they boosted up the numbers for this movement.

There was also a gathering of Libertarians nearby. But there were only just a handful. I recognize them with their "End the Fed" sign. No offense, but that group looked so pathetic.

I was wondering how long it would be until somebody did something like this, showing the parallels between the Arab Spring and OWS. The irony is not lost on me.

I don't think the "End the Fed" guys are wrong. We should end the federal reserve. It's run by Goldman Sachs. The same guys who orchestrated the financial collapse of 2008 and then held the US economy hostage for $700 billion in bailouts. Their damn right wanting to End the Fed. I don't think they should feel separate from the Occupy Together Movement.

I wasn't talking about their message, just how they appeared. One guy looked like a cross between a hobo and revolutionary soldier. I saw the film The Corporation and am aware of the role the Federal Reserve Bank has played.

He's probably waited a long time for the rest of us to wake up.
