The "ex-Gay" scam is funded by conservative groups.

Its purpose is to give cover to republican party attacks on gay rights.

Meh, if some people think they can go straight, more power to them. I fully support someone's right to be gay if they want to... And I fully support someone's right to be straight, if they want to.

If joining an "ex-gay" group gives someone what they want out of life... then whatever.

You're absolutely right. By maintaining that being gay is a choice, they can get away with their whole anti-gay rhetoric. If it's not a choice then what they practice is bigotry and that's a much tougher sell to rational people.

Obviously it's been proven that gay isn't a choice.
Anyone got any ideas of who in power is going to have to say it to make it stick?
That is where it all came from, someone said it was a choice and they were listened to. Or are we just stuck because people are drawing from twisting religion around

Just think, he lost his whole life to something so inevitable. Sad, sad sad.

Another "ex-gay" con artist exposed. Instead of a weepy apology to the gullible gay people he swindled, he should refund all the money he conned out of them. ( Fat chance.)

The problem - aside from the absurdity of the whole notion - is that these groups are NOT formed nor used as a means of PERSONAL fulfillment but as a tool to debase, villify and ultimately control EVERYBODY ELSE.

The act of marriage is not an indication of sexual orientation. In this case, it is merely a social custom being used as subterfuge.

If he were involved with a woman and getting some emotional, spiritual and sexual gratification, he may be considered bi. I don't believe that is the case here.

It is akin to saying if he is gay then he would not lift weights and work on cars or go camping. This site is proof that those ideas are ludicrous.

It would have been nice if he weren't gay. I'd like to hear that from an actual straight, conservative, Christian ex-gay leader.

Those groups do so much harm to people. If you're gay you're gay, if you're bi you're bi and if you're straight you're straight. Why try and be something that you're not? I consider those people to be feeble minded sheep who can't think for themselves.

Ex-gay indeed! He's been gay all the time, but he's finally come around to admitting it.

Finally one of the ex-gay therapy experts admits what has been proven fact all along, that sexual orientation is not a choice and cannot be changed. Now if only the rest of those narrow minded, bible thumping screwballs would only get that through their thick heads and stop lying and conning gay men that they can change their natural sexual orientation.
