    Hey Guys,
I need some advice. I worked out with my coach this morning, but we did all upper body, shoulders, tri's and bi's, but I feel like I still have way too much energy.
Do you think it would be bad to do a second workout today? If so, what do you suggest? I'm thinking some kind of light cardio.
    Suggestions please!

A 2nd workout later in the day is fine. Many people use a double workout to kick their metabolism up quicker. The danger is over working your muscles or causing an injury. I certainly would not do this everyday. When you do such a workout, I would suggest weight training in the AM and Cardio in the PM. You've got to eat properly by giving yourself lots of protein and water. Remember this should not be a regularly workout routine so cycle this type of workout by giving your body a few weeks break.

I think light cardio is your best option. Definitely, you shouldn't do any weight training (even if it's for your lower body).

I've been doing weight training in the early mornings and cardio in the afternoons. I would either pop in a P90X/Insanity video or jog 4 miles.

I've been doing this for three months now.

I generally do 2-3 workouts every day...20-30 in the morning, 20-30 minutes in the evening, and sometimes a few extra sets during the day on whichever muscle group needs special attention if any.

I love doing two-a-days. Listen to your body though. If you're sore or tired, back off and get some rest.
