A cousin was staying with me and left her natural peanut butter in the fridge (I usually just buy some Jiff). Then I had some left over sweet chili sauce in those little plastic dipping containers from Chinese take out. So I mixed the two and poured it over the tofu and it was almost Pad Thai-ish tasting. Pretty good, actually. So I was wondering if you have any other good tofu recipes? Also, how do I make sweet chili sauce. Is the stuff from take-out nothing but corn syrup?

Not an Asian here, but ive been inside quite a few so as to offer my opinion:

    Depends on where you are.

Japanese see everything in wide screen HD with 32,705 channels, most of which are sailor girl/octopus Hentai anime porn channels.

North Korea on the other hand, is on eyeball rationing, and can only see the Dear Leader. With one eye, because he skullfucks his citizens on a regular basis.

In China, you can see whatever you like, so long as the government approves of it. You get HD if you are a party member, or own the factory producing Apple's newest thing, the iBall.

Coming from trips to Asia and learning the Asian culture. The gov't system is not as strict as with North America which means more political favours which leads to more competition and more work just to get by. North America's system has suppressed the general person's dreams with rules and laws that Asia is way more relaxed in. In Asia everyone is hard working. If they have to work until 2am they do. If they don't make enough money they die. We in North America have the gov't to fall back on in terms of welfare and medical which makes us lazier than a country that hasn't got much of that. With an open mind and a tenacity to succeed or die, Asia's work habit far surpasses North America. America has so much safety and opportunity to Asians while Americans mostly take it for granted. That's what I've learned from my travels. icon_smile.gif

I wasn't aware about the lack of red-tape in Asia, although business hubs like Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore etc. certainly are cases in point. Completely agree with your point on work ethic!

A state of confusion? That does not exist. In China, Confucius is the guy who... um... we learn moral stuff from, kinda like Plato and Jesus. So you can identify China as the state of Confucius. Sorry for the confusion if you are now more confused. Read Teaching of Confucius. It will enlighten your state of mind.

Do you think gay men's general aversion to anything Asian is the reason why this thread is significantly less active than the other retarded "Ask XXXX any questions"?
