Let's end this musical hegemony and post your favorite videos from around the world.

    Rules:
    1. Music must be from a record company outside of the United States.
    2. The primary language cannot be English, though parts of the song may be in English.
    3. State the country the song is from.
    4. You must rate the video before yours.

    I'll get the ball rolling.

I'll admit he's new to me. One of my 'lesbians' introduced me to him.

    Italia

The difference between me and you,
I don't completely understand it all that well.
One of us knows how to get hurt, the other less so, but

    Me and you,

    Almost a denial,
I lose myself in the details and the chaos, you don't.
And I dread your past and my past but you don't.

    Me and you,

It's so obvious that it seems difficult.
My life always makes me lose sleep,
it makes me understand that it's evident
the difference between me and you.
Then you ask me how I am
and your smile turns off torments,
and the requests to feel good, to feel bad, to torture me, to ask me why
The difference between me and you.
How are you? Fine. How am I? Meh.

    Me and you,

One smiles at how it is, the other mourns what is not
    and I think that's a mistake
I have two, three certainties, a pint and a few friends
You have many questions, some awful, I say it

    Me and you,

Easy, to want to go away.
My life always makes me lose sleep
it makes me understand that it's evident
the difference between me and you.
Then you ask me how I am
and your smile turns off torments
and the requests to feel good, to feel bad, to torture me, to ask me why
And if my life sometimes resets
    the uselessness of these insecurities,
    I won't tell you.
But if one fine day, while looking back at my life
all of the sadness was already over,
    I would go to you.
Then you ask me how I am
and your smile turns off torments
and the requests to feel good, to feel bad, to torture me, to ask me why
The difference between me and you
how are you? fine, how am I? meh

    Me and you

One smiles at how it is, the other mourns what is not,
    And I think it's beautiful.
    I think it's beautiful.

Tiziano just came out last year!

Love him. Even though he sings a lot in Spanish, I mainly prefer his work in Italian.

Posted video gets 9 from me. I love almost anything he puts out.

t.A.t.u never gets me going..but I'm also a longtime follower of Tiziano... not so much song but nevertheless...

This link should still work even though I contributed to 70,000 (or so) of those views.

Very interesting dude. When I first heard him, I had no idea he was from Spain since he sings in a Caribbean accent (I read he has a Dominican gf, no?). But then I saw him on a few programs, and sure enough, he sounds like he's from Catalunya icon_cool.gif

One of the saddest songs in the world, but definitely in my top 10 favorites.

    France

Dejate Caer - not my type of music but for the four guys dancing 4/5 icon_smile.gif

Stefanie Sun (Singaporean!) 天黑黑 The chorus is beautiful!

I considered putting up a translation of the Chinese lyrics, but it just looks so cheesy in English that I thought it would ruin the impression icon_confused.gif

    EDIT:
The internet saved me the trouble. jrunner, don't cringe!

When I was small, when I was stubborn
My grandmother would always sing to me
On summer afternoons, grandma's song would comfort me
That song would go something like this

The sky is dark, it's going to rain, the sky is dark, dark...

Grown up now, had my own life
    Fresh songs, fresh ideas
When it's impossible to control my wilfulness and impulsiveness
I forget I still have this song

The sky is dark, it's going to rain, the sky is dark, dark...

I fell in love with someone I could risk my life for
I believed this was the world I pursued
However, I fumbled, was misunderstood, was cheated
Is the adult world really so terrible?

I walk everyday, faced with the road ahead
I miss my past's innocent blissful little happiness
Love always lets people cry, makes people unsatisfied
The sky is very big but can't see clearly - how lonely

When the sky is dark, I remember that song
And expect to see the peaceful rain
In grandma's truth sung to me back then
That even if it rains, we must bravely continue
I believe everything can calm down
I now wish to go home

The sky is dark, it's going to rain, the sky is dark, dark

5/5 for the previous video. Songs that include a piano generally get full stars from me, I'm a bit biased. It had hints of Maroon 5 to me as well.

    THX for this thread btw!

    I'll contribute some J-Rock/J-Pop.

I think I'll choose Hyde as my artist. From Ki/Oon Records
I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this man. I first heard this song on an anime I was watching at the time called Blood+ (if you ever watched anime, I definitely recommend this one, it was probably my favorite).

Shortened version from the anime: It fit so perfectly, and i loved the drawing style of the artists, vibrant colors and the song just completed the package

    Here is the PV:

It's always on my i-pod and has the most played.

Not quite what I had in mind, Jack.

Evan: 8/10. Love the voice. Song is way too long, though.

7/10 because he was delicious, not my style of music usually.

    Sweden

    Det Var Jag
    (It was me)

I miss you despite you standing here in front of me
Black due to the ash and the fire that was seen from miles
It was me and I did it solely for you
The Phoenix on the wall who gave [you] its life

For all the times we've danced
And sung along even though nobody can
And never pretended, just taken the chance
And didn't give a crap about school because it's no big deal
You will find us in the harbour
    For everything we've done

I miss you despite you standing here in front of me
Black due to the ash and the fire that was seen from miles
It was me and I did it solely for you
The Phoenix on the wall who gave [you] its life

My life has felt like a couple of hours
    What should I become when I'm a grown-up?
That one thing leads to another is everything I know
I want to be old with solely you
And do everything that just exists
Like if today was our last one, sweety

I miss you despite you standing here in front of me
Black due to the ash and the fire that was seen from miles
It was me and I did it solely for you
The Phoenix on the wall who gave [you] its life

I miss you despite you standing here in front of me
Black due to the ash and the fire that was seen from miles
It was me and I did it solely for you
The Phoenix on the wall who gave [you] its life
