    What do you guys think?

Iron man was fun, had great effects and relatively good performances.
I am glad to see Robert Downey Jr making a strong comeback. Overall, I would say it was very enjoyable but not memorable nor am I wanting to see it again (DVD or theater)

Indiana Jones was GREAT! I loved it.... it was reminiscent of Raiders, the first one in many ways and Harrison Ford carried it off.... non stop eye popping action with a good (but not great) story.

    Other thoughts?

Want to see them both. Missed my chance to see Jones last week, windstorms kicked my allergies into overdrive and I couldn't wear my contacts.
    I consoled myself with Babylon 5 Season 2 discs 1 and 2.

I cant help thinking that the Indiana Jones would be as cringeable to watch as buying the latest Bel Ami DVD only to find your grandad as the main star!!!!

He looks awful and the idea seems cringeworthy. As for Ironman would have seen it if the lead wasnt Robert Downey jnr really cant stand him as an actor

Saw Iron man.. thought it was very fun, great effects, pretty well done story, good acting.

Only bummer was waiting through the final credits to see the part 2 teaser clip and it was like 2 seconds long.

Haven't seen Indy yet, dunno if I will.. I hear it's nothing spectacular but I do like a good adventure flick

I haven't seen Ironman though I want to.

Indiana Jones was really fun. Personally, I thought it was the second best of the series. I was funny, not overwrought, good action, and a good entertaining 'Saturday Afternoon serial.'

Well I think Ironman was better.

I enjoyed both of them, but sometimes Indiana jones doesn't make any sense. (well maybe that's why ppl love that movie.. lol)

but I love harrison ford and Shia LaBeouf.. damn they are cute.. and Robert Downey Jr. too icon_smile.gif

Iron Man had a few plot holes in it, but was a lot of fun. The story was pretty meh, but the dialogue writing was fantastic. I hope the next one is as good.

Indiana Jones was so bad. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but good god. It had the same "watch as we rape your childhood!" thing going on as Star Wars, but not to the same degree.

Thank god Harrison Ford is still smoking hot. icon_biggrin.gif

    I saw both.

I loved Ironman. It surprised me as being a good movie that I'd go see again. Downey Jr does a really great job as an arrogant rich bastard who may or may not have a heart.

I want to kill Steven Spielberg and George Lucas for making the latest Indiana Jones almost as bad as the second one. At least with "Raiders" the plot was believable. This was a caricature of Indiana Jones. I mean that part with the nuclear bomb test... FFS! I was really unhappy with it. Also that goddamn ending that is so frakkin Spielberg... I don't want to spoil anything but for gods' sake does he have to put that in ALL his movies. Yet another reason to boycott everything he touches.

I never cared for the Iron Man comics because of Tony Stark being a massive ass, but it was nice to see that character translated over to the screen. The story was kinda ho-hum though. I liked the slight nod to War Machine.

I haven't seen Indy yet, but I've heard it's pretty good. Then again, I heard Iron Man was this amazing movie, which it isn't.

Saw Indiana Jones the other day, and was kind of disappointed. The storyline wasn't that interesting and even the acting seemed off. And the action sequences--which is why I went--aren't nearly the calibre of the earlier movies. Seems like they were just going through the motions.

Have not seen either as yet, although "Ironman" is getting much better reviews from movie goers in Toronto then Indiana Jones.

I am not sure why they had to make another Indiana Jones movie. Think they would have learned from the second set of Stars Wars movies (mind you they made a pot ful of money so I guess in that respect they were successful). Why spoil a perfectly good trilogy by tacking on another episode? Next thing you know somebody will try to write a sequel to "The Lord of The Rings".

I want to see the "Sex and The City" movie, that is next on my "must see" list.

I didnt' like Indiana Jones, I mean the action scenes were great. But I did not like the plot. The crystal skull thing was not what I expected it to be, it was disappointing.

Just saw Indy today, and hands down, Iron Man was much better. Crystal Skull was way over the top absurd. I could consciously tell all the places where Harrison had a stunt man fill in, unlike his younger years. And I thought it got very corny during the "family" moments.

I have seen Iron Man already and I thought it was great. I especially liked the ending (after the credits). I love the direction the Marvel Universe is heading and it's making me anticipate future Marvel Movies.

I have been putting off watching Indiana for a while now. I think I will go see it tomorrow. I have a feeling I might also enjoy this one as well.::fingers crossed::

LOVED Ironman, it's about time a Marvel Comics movie make an strong entrance worthy of a sequel!

Haven't and Not Going to see Indiana Jones...don't like Harrison Ford (yes I know I just lost some gay points for saying that but I really don').

The Dark Knight is next on my list!

So i went a watched Indy yesterday and I wasn't disappointed. It wasn't an entirely mind blowing movie but it wasn't bad either. I even watched it twice (yup, i have time on my hands). It had some really good hilarious moments which i really enjoyed.

Now that I have seen them both, I definitely give Iron Man the edge. They were two good movies.
