It should read "Drunken idiot sets friend's leg on fire, faces charges."

Those aren't friends. I don't know what these people's think the definition of what a friend really is but no one who cares and loves you will do such an evil act.

Actually, it should read: "Drunken idiots set on fire another drunken idiot's leg"

Never drink enough to pass out in somebody else's house. Actually, never drink enough to pass out, period.

What can you expect when a bunch of drunks get together. He's probably lucky it wasn't his hair they set on fire, oh yeah it's always funny until someone gets hurt! Yeah, good idea Casey, give a drunk a gun. And I sure wouldn't be hanging out with friends like that drunk or sober.

Damn, I am glad they didn't have gay hate laws when I was In school. When our dorm beer can cannon malfuctioned because of too much everclear and flaming shave cream went flying if a gay dude would have caught on fire I would still be doing time.

How come when they print stories like this there are almost never any specifics mentioned?

Is he sure its because he is gay or was his friends hammered and doing something stupid? I always find these stories very suspect and are used by the militant gay groups for some sort of PR. It all makes me very wary. Doesnt pass the smell test.

That story seems....fishy. I bet there's more to this story than the media is letting out.

It's bullshit hype. Tired of this diluting real reporting of bullying/hate incidents.

Because the media has the most to gain from lies. Without lies, they have no business.

My friends did weird shit to me when we used to get drunk (back in the day). Some were terrible, but we'd do it to each other. We laugh back at it today. But I didn't go around saying "they did it because I'm gay." This dude needs to chill. I don't believe for a sec that it was because he was gay. Please don't tie this with actual bullying. THIS IS NOT!

This sounds like it would be a story about 19 or 20 year old kids. This guy is 37. And how does he know why they did it? He was passed out drunk when it happened.

The sadest part about this sentence is that you had the opportunity to use it twice today. What the fuck is going on? International Set a Queer on Fire Day?

Wait....Its an actual holiday now? I will have to wait till next year....
