I'm sure we'd all love to hear about this!

And I'm sure it's not all going to be about sex, although I'm sure some will be icon_lol.gif

    EDIT:
Are we talking like, Xtreme Youtube worthy crazy? Or like, batshit insane wtf was I thinking cray-cray crazy?
It could be either - depending on which one appalled you more.

okay, I go cannonballing around the woods with the local sports car club. Up near Baton Rouge the terrain actually becomes a little hilly so you have these tiny, old asphalt roads that wind around in the woods will all sorts of blind turns and complex turns and its this glorious feeling, with the top down hearing the roar of twenty engines as you hurtle along at 60-70mph, hearing each driver downshift coming into a turn, the engine rpms spiking high as you maintain perfect throttle position, too little and you nose in and too much and you're sideways.

All the boy racers and their red light rumbles can suck my dick and fondle my balls cuz there's nothing like the open road...and open roads have curves icon_twisted.gif

My last job was a perfect fit for my career goals...except that two of the people I was working with were psychotic. It was the most demoralizing work experience I've ever had in my life, although I loved my work. I just quit and walked away from a shot at my ideal career because the people I was working with were literally making me sick. That was crazy.

Well, crazy in terms of 'gutsy', was probably recently having quit my job and then attempting to become self-employed (with success so far!)... having contemplated the few jobs available to me (working at a call center, dishwashing) or going on welfare, I decided instead to try to be creative and came up with a way to make money writing my book. Possibly the biggest personal risk I have taken in terms of life choices and finding my own path, direction, etc. Finding my dream, and following it along the way.

Now, crazy in terms of I should be dead by now, those stories likely aren't for a public forum, but let's just say, I was highly experimental and totally nuts back when I was in grade 12. Tis not one story, but MANY, involving dirty cops, suburban underbelly, more substances than can be counted, and once, talking my way out of being arrested... oh, and talking my way out of getting mugged. Ahh, interesting year. And I still managed to graduate with honours and a scholarship. Appearances can be deceiving.

Whatever else is said here, I want to say Congratulations. This is gutsy, but well worth it. I'm happy for you and glad to hear it's going well. icon_biggrin.gif

Crazy as in not too smart and regrettable in hindsight?

Well, I spent a stupid amount of money doing performance modifications on a nice Saab turbo convertible. Truthfully about the same amount as the car itself cost. It sure was fun, but would I do it again? Hell no.

Crazy as in personally challenging and exciting, probably skydiving or bungee jumping.

Crazy as in disregarding my personal safety? Walking around Marrakech, Morocco at 4am with a backpack full of computer and camera gear.

My roommate had people over for dinner today.

Then they were off to a show.

    ...

    Well...

    ...

I finished the brownies they had left. 'Ate the whole thing.

    Fell in love.

Later told myself I didn't need to ever let myself do that again, because having had the experience once was enough. I even had the discipline to stop myself on at least four occasions (three with the same person).

I am now contemplating the (even crazier) act of letting myself do it again. Only thing stopping me is that I'm pretty darn sure it's completely unrequited. icon_redface.gificon_cry.gif

I went skydiving for the first time. I wish I could find the DVD so I could upload the video. Its obscenity laden combined with me hitting on the instructor while I am tied to him in mid flight.

Hmm telling my homophobic uncle I was gay. He was the first person I eer told too. It ended badly, but I've become stronger because of it- I don't fear anyone for being myself icon_biggrin.gif

Also had a huge ass party when I was 16 icon_sad.gif
Had something like 150 students in my house and my street filled with cars from 3 different high schools. They were about to trash my parent's house. My bro, a few friends and I went to the garage, grabbed a crow bar, bat, and a couple shinai's and kicked people out before the cops showed up. Not bad in terms of house damage, nothing a little drywall plaster couldn't fix up. Our next parties after we a lot more tame icon_biggrin.gif
